Sun - Thurs eves are "school" nights as you have to face the hangover at school/work the next day. It's just the game was never on Sunday at 5.20pm as was claimed. I'm guessing you've got that now, and will be suitably leaving the pub at 2.30pm

He was stating the 5:20 kick with reference to the fact that it WAS a 5:20 kick off, which WOULD have left more drinking time, but NOW it's 3 o'clock kick off we get less time BUT that could be a good thing because it is a school night, or to explain in a way that MLG will understand, we have work the next day. But MLG is yet again too quick to try and correct people.

Ok, we both know he did in reality, but if you want to stick with the pedantry let's look at what he said: Didn't realise the game was at 17.20...how ****e....more time to get drunk I guess though ...but is a school night mind Your interpretation is a very strange one. You've had 2 insert two bridges from your imagination that aren't there to get close ("...but now it's at 3pm", "but that could be a good thing because..."). The sentence is clear without those and reads "The game is on at 5.20, that's annoying, on the plus side you get more drunk but then you'll suffer for it in work the next day". Worst case both interpretations are possible (though that's a stretch) so you still can't say MLG is wrong. I'd suggest you are the one with your head in the wrong place as you are so desperate to do another poster down you are not looking at the facts - something MLG happens to be pretty good at. Btw nobody is struggling with the fact that by "school night" he means it's Sunday. It's amusing how angry this has made you. I think the obsession with MLG is a little sad. Agree, particularly the vitriol from Steve Grant.
