dello Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 This game was originally set to be on Sky at 1720 on Saturday Why was it moved to Sunday and now not on TV? Are Sky going to compensate Saints for not showing it now? Annoying really as was looking fwd to watching the game..
Nexstar Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Birmingham are in Europe on Thursday night
HK_Phoey Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Not on now. ****ed off as I was looking forward to watching here.

JRM Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Bit crap really...Most teams play 2 games in 3 days nowadays so don't see why the League have accomodated Brum... Oh well- at least have a trip to Burnley to look fwd to next weekend... it is the same for all teams in the Europa league, they play on Thursday and their league games go back to a sunday, same for Spurs, Fulham, Stoke, Celtic
Matthew Le God Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Bit crap really...Most teams play 2 games in 3 days nowadays so don't see why the League have accomodated Brum... Do they? Examples?
Saint Garrett Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Uncommon for teams that play in Europe to play Thursday and then Sunday. Pretty gutted because it means I can't go to the game, and also with it not being on TV, means I miss it altogether!
Saint Garrett Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Feel free to find a website for me to watch it and I will !

Danbert Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 If it's not being televised then surely it won't be available online. Where will they get the feed from?
stevegrant Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Do they? Examples? Easter Saturday, Easter Monday.
Nexstar Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Do they? Examples? Usually Boxing Day and December 28th, along with Easter.
Appy Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Easter Saturday, Easter Monday. You just corrected MLG, something is wrong with the world.
keithd Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 If it's not being televised then surely it won't be available online. Where will they get the feed from? the game?
Dog Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 If it's not being televised then surely it won't be available online. Where will they get the feed from? Some Chinese chap sitting at the back of the Chapel with a camcorder.
stevegrant Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 You just corrected MLG, something is wrong with the world. Not at all, he's wrong on many occasions. He just refuses to believe it. Admirable in many ways that someone could be so deluded, to be honest.
Appy Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Not at all, he's wrong on many occasions. He just refuses to believe it. Admirable in many ways that someone could be so deluded, to be honest. I was being sarcastic, but this reply is funneh.
Hatch Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 A really daft decision by SKY to not show Saints Brum live, instead the country gets to watch Man Utd v Chelsea. I really can't see the thinking behind that one.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Do they? Examples? Taken from http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article6525429.ece after 2 second Google search. “Teams such as Everton could be playing big matches within three days of each other,” Ian Todd, the president of the Football Supporters’ Federation, said. “The quarter-final second legs of the Europa League are on April 8 and the FA Cup semi-finals are scheduled for April 10-11."
jamesfp1 Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenam all had to do it last season I believe
farawaysaint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Not at all, he's wrong on many occasions. He just refuses to believe it. Admirable in many ways that someone could be so deluded, to be honest. I know his probably falls under the heading of "backhanded compliment" rather than "insult" but feel you should be sanctioned for breaking your own forum's rules oh glorious leader
eelpie Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 I'm annoyed too. My son's birthday party on Sunday so can't make it. Cortese out
Matthew Le God Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Easter Saturday, Easter Monday. Usually Boxing Day and December 28th, along with Easter. You just corrected MLG, something is wrong with the world. No I haven't, because he implied it happened all the time for teams playing in Europe. I'm fully aware teams play two games in three days at Easter and Christmas.
alpine_saint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Gutted. Was due to be shown here in Austria
stevegrant Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 No I haven't, because he implied it happened all the time for teams playing in Europe. I'm fully aware teams play two games in three days at Easter and Christmas. You never said that, or even gave the faintest hint of it. How's that spoonful of your own ****ing tedious medicine tasting?

Appy Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Appy never said you corrected yourself, he said Steve corrected you. Cheers babes.
Toadhall Saint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 You never said that, or even gave the faintest hint of it. How's that spoonful of your own ****ing tedious medicine tasting? Made me chuckle!
Saint Garrett Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 No it's not, they do it all the time! Ah definitely meant Saturday rather than Sunday.
Big Bad Bob Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Ah definitely meant Saturday rather than Sunday. I'll believe you, millions (and ma-illions of the Rock's fans) wouldn't....
OttawaSaint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Gutted. Was due to be shown here in Austria Instead they will be showing fat men in tight leather shorts burping to "she'll be coming 'round the mountain".
Golden Balls Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 No I haven't, because he implied it happened all the time for teams playing in Europe. I'm fully aware teams play two games in three days at Easter and Christmas. It is okay to admit you're wrong from time to time...
Appy Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 It is okay to admit you're wrong from time to time... Have you read about ten of MLG's posts? Just from that it isn't okay for him to admit he is wrong.
Deano6 Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 I'm with MLG on this one. Yes, Christmas and Easter are special times when they intentionally cram loads of games into a short time to give fans something to do. Everyone's aware of it before the season starts and are ok with it as it's not a regular occurrence. It's also conceivable that a club would have to do it towards the end of the season due to unplanned backlog of games needing to be completed by the end of the season. But the rest of the time (such as this period we're talking about) it'd be very unusual to force clubs to play 2 games with only one rest day. I'm not saying it's never happened, but I'd also like to see how many examples there are of it happening per the original statement, implying Birmingham are getting special treatment: Most teams play 2 games in 3 days nowadays so don't see why the League have accomodated Brum But hey - don't let that stop you being a d*ck to MLG if that's what you're desperate to do.
niceandfriendly Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 But hey - don't let that stop you being a d*ck to MLG if that's what you're desperate to do. I imagine a lot of people are desperate to do that, yes. Seeming as that's how he behaves to anyone who even as much as thinks of making any sort of human error.
DJ_TOAST Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Didn't realise the game was at 17.20...how ****e....more time to get drunk I guess though ...but is a school night mind
Matthew Le God Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 (edited) Didn't realise the game was at 17.20. It isn't, it is a 3pm kick off on Sunday. Edited 13 September, 2011 by Matthew Le God
VectisSaint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Didn't realise the game was at 17.20...how ****e....more time to get drunk I guess though ...but is a school night mind Should you be getting drunk if you have to go to school next day?
DJ_TOAST Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Should you be getting drunk if you have to go to school next day? all the cool kids are doing these days don't you know.
Chin Strain Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 It isn't, it is a 3pm kick off on Sunday. Yeah, but he said it was at 5:20.....and it was. Now it's 3pm.

Farnboro Saint Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Look on the brightside - fixtures for Sat.. Millwall v West Ham Palace v Middlesbrough Leicester v Brighton Come Sunday afternoon we may have a cracking opportunity to regain our rightfully deserved spot at the top of the table ; )
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Do they? Examples? Easter Saturday, Easter Monday. Pedantry at it's most succulent. Nice one Granty!
Deano6 Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Yeah, but he said it was at 5:20.....and it was. Now it's 3pm. He said is was at 5:20 on a school night. It isn't and never was. It was moved from 5:20pm Sat to 3:00pm Sun. MLG is, again, correct. Keep trying.
DJ_TOAST Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 as in I have school the next day...well not school, work, but you know what I mean
