Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 CHDAJFU? Wants to go out on loan from Ipswich & could be a useful option IMO.
sfc1971 Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 He was linked with us back in the days of Burley has scored less than ten in 4+ years. Nah.....
Benali Saint Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Good cover, But would he want to come and bench warm for us
Flyer Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 You dont want him, I had the misfortune to watch him play many games for QPR, he wore poncy yellow boots but played like a pub footballer and was scared of everyone. Hes 6ft but plays like hes 5ft5".
EBS1980 Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Blinkered opinion maybe, but if he isn't good enough to get into a struggling Ipswich team, why would he be good enough for us?
SFCDan Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 No no good god no. Terrible player.
stu0x Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 We're flying high at the top of the division, and seen as a progressive, forward thinking team (and club) that has every chance of being promoted. In short, I'd hope we'd be aiming a lot higher for a loan deal. We need to be looking at the sort of deal that took Bendtner to Birmingham in '06 or Taarabt to QPR last year. A player from a PL club with obvious quality who is not getting a game in their parent club. And we should have sufficient 'collateral' in terms of our reputation and results to achieve that. I'd be looking at someone like Nimely(sp?) from Man City, Diouf from United, maybe even Macheda from United. (I've just re-read that first paragraph, and imagined saying it 25 short months ago. I would probably be sectioned.)
Saint_Jonny Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Rather see Barnard come back and be the cover man.
Nexstar Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Poor scoring record and he would add nothing to the squad.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 CHDAJFU? Wants to go out on loan from Ipswich & could be a useful option IMO. He wants to go out on loan from Ipswich in order to get games. He won't even make the bench for Saints, so what is the point?
Foxstone Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Absolutely no point. He is not better than any of what we have now

Dover are struggling for goals at the moment. He would def get a game there but whether he would get any goals is alltogether another story. This Charming Man Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 No thanks. Why would we want an Ipswich reject?
ottery st mary Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Several of the Academy/u 21 side would be better bets than Priskin....
Cestrian Saint Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 I don't understand all this negativity when people suggest certain players. We've seen a number of players who've been at Saints and been poor then moved elsewhere and looked completely different. By the same token it can work the other way. Sometimes a move to another club is exactly what's needed to kickstart a career.
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 IMO a gash player. Not a good scoring record which, when you consider that he makes someone like Defoe look like an unselfish team player, is pretty telling.
Fowllyd Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 Hes 6ft but plays like hes 5ft5". I also heard he's 68, but he says he's 54.
S-Clarke Posted 13 September, 2011 Share Posted 13 September, 2011 No better than what we've got. We should be aiming, if possible, to secure deals for players with the aim of them becoming permanent and playing in the prem. - none of this short term 3 month stuff, anyone we sign now has to be for the long-term. Danny R Posted 14 September, 2011 Share Posted 14 September, 2011 I saw him a few times at Vicarage Road... he started off very slowly and didnt seem to be able to cope with the Championship physically. However, in the season he was sold to Ipswich he looked superb, almost unplayable and looked like a great signing for Ipswich....then he lost his way. sambosa75 Posted 14 September, 2011 Share Posted 14 September, 2011 Do you honestly think that's him? Do you think a professional football player currently in the midst of a court case for ABH or whatever it is would be "liking" football related violence and hooliganism on FB?
