What a rubbish show this is. I did laugh at the Manish Idiot intro to Pompey as 'a solid start to the season' no doubt for Claridges benefit followed by the match commentator intro saying 'not having won in however many matches Pompey now in bottom half of table'. Priceless amateurism but at least they have got rid of the equally stupid girl but she now does the sports bit on BBC news 24 - equally as badly.

I usually defend the show because before that we had the terrible programme on ITV that was broadcast at 9am on a Sunday. But FLS makes supporters of FL clubs look thick in the opening credits alone.

That would be an accurate representation then. What's the problem?

What I don't understand is why the premiership show is serious and in depth, the football league show assumes that fans of lower league clubs have a lower iq and have the mentality of ten year olds. I don't like being talked down to by the BBC or the jester hat wearing vibe it gives off.

I don't mind that Manish Bhasin however the bird on there was an idiot, I couldn't give a toss what Big Dave, a lifelong Leeds fan from Yeovil thinks about a win at Watford...

I tweeted something similar to this last night. The MOTD credits are slick, professional and a celebration of all things football.

The theme tune to the Football League Show sounds like a recording of a farting competition. The credits feature weirdos jumping about. It's as if the Beeb considers lower league fans to be mentally deficient, and the lower league game to be a bit of a laugh and a joke.

They experiment with all sorts of crap that no-one is really interested in, like the stupid phone-ins or starting the programme with Manish at the top of a flight of stairs. What's that all about?
