So many incredible images (the view from an office building as the 2nd plane goes in and obviously, the close-up image of the man falling from the sky)... also, something that the photographer says during the slideshow was particularly poignant about freezeframing a moment in time - which some of these images did.

Very moving slideshow. Don't know if anyone saw it, but the documentary on 9/11 by ITV a week or so ago was absolutely brilliant. Horrifying, but brilliant.

No matter how many times I see the images or the coverage, it still does not seem real, but it is very very real and chilling!!

It's exactly the same for me. Every time I see pictures of those planes hitting the buildings, or the towers collapsing, it just doesn't seem real. There's a kind of odd poetry about the fact that it was such a beautiful, clear sunny day. It just doesn't fit.
