Her defence lawyer, Martyn Levett, told the court in mitigation that Thompson had worked in broadcasting for 10 years and called her a "sensible and reliable person".

 

WTF, is that the best he could come up with! ha :lol:

You would think that her 'friend' might have stopped her from driving home...

 

Here in NZ a debate has been started about if someone knowingly

lets a drunk drive then that person is also guilty of a criminal offence

and they could also be arrested.
