Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 7 September, 2011 Posted 7 September, 2011 Tried to get my own seats for the Carling Cup match. They were on sale for 10 minutes and some b*stard had already got them!
Tony F Posted 7 September, 2011 Posted 7 September, 2011 Why do you have more than one seat anyway?......when I met you a couple of years ago (Hull City, away) you definitely only needed the one seat..... maybe some dark sotonic expansion has been going on just behind you??!!

Barry the Badger Posted 7 September, 2011 Posted 7 September, 2011 How far from 'your seats' did you have to move?
dronskisaint Posted 7 September, 2011 Posted 7 September, 2011 i think i met her...she was wearing a pompey crested burkha with braces and dungarees :d:d
Bourno Posted 7 September, 2011 Posted 7 September, 2011 Wish they would open the Chapel stand on cup games so that families can go in the knowledge that the they won't end up next to a bloke (or old woman - the is one that goes to loads of away games what a potty mouth) screaming obseneties. I know a lot of naughty songs are sung and the nippers hear it anyway, but it is different when individuals are venting their splene. Yes I can swear with the best of them but when I am with my son I don't want it right in his face.

My son has the other seat. My arse doesn't need two just yet. Oh BTW, my imaginary friends don't need seats; they sit on my shoulders. OK?
Saint_Mabes Posted 8 September, 2011 Posted 8 September, 2011 I think I met her...she was wearing a Pompey crested burkha with braces and dungarees I haven't lol'd for some time - brilliant!
ericb Posted 8 September, 2011 Posted 8 September, 2011 For his pretend friend? I'd be careful he could be a ghost
SaintAndy14 Posted 8 September, 2011 Posted 8 September, 2011 For his pretend friend? Ooo friend! Fake football friend! (Sorry for those who haven't seen the Inbetweeners!)
JRM Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Charlton 0-2 Preston so we will play Preston at home next Wednesday in the carling cup. £14 tickets, good chance of another home win and progression to the 4th round.
CFSFC Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Should be getting at least 15,000 this round.
JRM Posted 13 September, 2011 Posted 13 September, 2011 Should be getting at least 15,000 this round. I agree, would have preferred if it was £10 tickets, undecided if I'll travel down myself, but surely plenty will go with the record home win run we are on. Preston will only bring about 300 fans though.

arfurdent Posted 14 September, 2011 Posted 14 September, 2011 well being unable to book my ST seat is why I do not go to cup games

Brum are only charging £10 for adult season ticket holders (£15 for non-ST) for their European game tomorrow night.

I agree, Palace were charging £5 last night for game v Wigan, Fulham have been doing £5 for Europa league up to group stage and is now £10 for this.

CFSFC Posted 14 September, 2011 Posted 14 September, 2011 ...and it's started.... ;~) £5 x 20000 £14 x 9000 = which makes more money???
once_bitterne Posted 14 September, 2011 Posted 14 September, 2011 well being unable to book my ST seat is why I do not go to cup games Can you really not bear to watch a game of football from another seat other than 'yours'?
JRM Posted 14 September, 2011 Posted 14 September, 2011 £5 x 20000 £14 x 9000 = which makes more money??? 32,000 ground, with 9,000 in or with 20,000 in, what makes more atmosphere? plus the extra programme, food and drink sales. Was at AFC Wimbledon v Northampton using the sun deal last night, 2 tickets for £9.50 - £4.75 with no booking fee = value. i think we should at least make the cup game £10 adults £1 kids.
Lets B Avenue Posted 14 September, 2011 Posted 14 September, 2011 well being unable to book my ST seat is why I do not go to cup games So you didn't go to Wembley?
