Danish Saint Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 Dave Beasant Barry Venison Jason Dodd Alan Neilson Francis Benali Ken Monkou Simon Charlton Jim Magilton Neil Heaney Matt Le Tissier Neil Shipperley That could be the 3-1 win against Man Utd in April 1996.
Lets B Avenue Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 This one should bring back some memories: Shilton, Mills, Dennis, Williams, Wright, Agboola, Holmes, Moran, Worthington, Armstrong, Wallace Lots of games in the 83-84 season. Presumably, you are referring to the 1-0 win at the Skates in the FA Cup 4th rd.
jawillwill Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 Blayney, Telfer, Lundekvam, Hall, Crainey, Fernandes, Folly, Anders Svensson, Prutton, Beattie, Ormerod
Danish Saint Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 Blayney, Telfer, Lundekvam, Hall, Crainey, Fernandes, Folly, Anders Svensson, Prutton, Beattie, Ormerod The inclusion of Blayney, suggests the end of the 2003-2004 season under Sturrock. Maybe last game of the season vs. Newcastle (3-3)
The9 Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 Blayney, Telfer, Lundekvam, Hall, Crainey, Fernandes, Folly, Anders Svensson, Prutton, Beattie, Ormerod Niemi Day at Charlton.
Appy Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 Niemi, Hajto, Lundekvam, Powell, Higginbotham, Belmadi (Wise 50), Oakley, Quashie, Prutton, Fuller (Delap 90), Jones (Walcott 73). Subs Not Used: Smith, Cranie.
Matthew Le God Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 That could be the 3-1 win against Man Utd in April 1996. Yep, the infamous "grey shirt game". Although I suppose that line up may have been used in other games that season.
Danish Saint Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 Niemi, Hajto, Lundekvam, Powell, Higginbotham, Belmadi (Wise 50), Oakley, Quashie, Prutton, Fuller (Delap 90), Jones (Walcott 73). Subs Not Used: Smith, Cranie. Hehe.... Redcrap era, most likely with Wise and Quashie in the squad and Cranie on the bench.... I'm guessing, 0-0 vs. Wolves at St. Mary's. August 6th, 2005
Danish Saint Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 Lots of games in the 83-84 season. Presumably, you are referring to the 1-0 win at the Skates in the FA Cup 4th rd. True
Saint_lambden Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 Niemi, Telfer, Lundekvam, Davenport, Higginbotham, Nilsson (Jones 64), Prutton, Oakley (Jakobsson 73), Delap, Anders Svensson, Crouch.
Danish Saint Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 Niemi, Telfer, Lundekvam, Davenport, Higginbotham, Nilsson (Jones 64), Prutton, Oakley (Jakobsson 73), Delap, Anders Svensson, Crouch. Again.... judging by players like Davenport, Nilsson and Jakobsson in the squad, Redcrap area... 2-1 against the Skates in the FA Cup, 2005?
Saint_lambden Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 Again.... judging by players like Davenport, Nilsson and Jakobsson in the squad, Redcrap area... 2-1 against the Skates in the FA Cup, 2005? Ding Ding Ding. What about.... 01 Davis 02 Harding 03 Thomas 15 Lancashire (Rasiak 90+2) 23 James 10 Wotton (Gobern 81) 19 Schneiderlin 35 Mellis 07 Lambert 17 Paterson (Saganowski 81) 20 Lallana ? The bottom 3 at the time were: 22 Norwich 23 Brighton 24 Southampton. How times change.

Danish Saint Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 (edited) Ding Ding Ding. This is recent.. Mellis was on loan under Pardew. The start at -10 in L1. The "cleaning" of the squad has not yet begun as Thomas, Saganowski, Paterson and Wotton are in the starting XI. I would guess one of the first games under Pardew. 1-0 away at Swindon perharps, August 2009? Edited 6 September, 2011 by Danish Saint Forgot month and year
Danish Saint Posted 6 September, 2011 Posted 6 September, 2011 Also Lancashire in the starting XI. We certainly have a nice looking defense now!
