bpsaint Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 The fifth ex-saint to end up in the scrap pile that is Atromitos FC after Sarmiento, Saganowski, Camara, and Vignal!
THEVMAN Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 The fifth ex-saint to end up in the scrap pile that is Atromitos FC after Sarmiento, Saganowski, Camara, and Vignal! I would rather be there getting a couple of grand a week in the sun than working my arse off on a building site (who`s the mug)
Yate Saint Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 I recently met his ex girlfriend from his Torquay days. True Story.
cellone Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 I would rather be there getting a couple of grand a week in the sun than working my arse off on a building site (who`s the mug) Me too.
MrWoody83 Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 My cousin calls him the Mummy as he was so slow!!, really nice bloke & one of my favourite Saints players!
doddisalegend Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 He was a dirty b astard never minded putting in a sneaky elbow or boot..............but I quite liked that sometimes a team needs a a nasty bastard. Will always remember that goal vs Ipswich totally out of the blue.......... shoooooooooooot!
THEVMAN Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 Always put on a glove when having a sneaky fag in his car ( legend)
Mr Saints Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 I remember him lamping someone off the ball a couple of seasons back and the referee being the only person in the ground not to see it. Good lad and good luck in Greece Wayne.
SaintAndy14 Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 Tom-o! The sort of guy who, if playing against us, we would hate - but playing for us, well we loved him! Will remember him for the winning pen against Norwich, head-butting opponents in the back of the head sometimes when going up for headers, winding the MK Dons players up in the home leg and when substituted...oh, and the Ipswich screamer! Good luck Tom-o.
Dimond Geezer Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 I was always a Thomas fan, and thought he used to get a lot of unjustified stick from some on here, but he plugged a hole when we needed it & when called on always put in a good shift. Good luck Wayno and enjoy the sunshine.
lambertsrightleg Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 loved wayne thomas. everybody needs a player like him. not afraid to put is head in where it hurts and I'll never forget his touch line bust up with Incey.
wightman35 Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 I was always a Thomas fan, and thought he used to get a lot of unjustified stick from some on here, but he plugged a hole when we needed it & when called on always put in a good shift. Good luck Wayno and enjoy the sunshine. Seconded. Best wishes,Wayne.
cellone Posted 4 September, 2011 Posted 4 September, 2011 Efaristo polis Wayne for being a Saint. Enjoy life out there. If decorating in Greece paid enough I'd be out there.
whelk Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 Sure the slower more technical type of game will suit him;)
Junior Mullet Posted 5 September, 2011 Posted 5 September, 2011 His goal vs Ipswich is one of my all time favorites.
