After seeing a few threads on free agents, Beattie and McFadden etc and randomly looking at a website of Eredivisie bosmans are there anymore free agents we should be looking at?

I seem to remember there is a proper website that lists all free agents but cant remember it just a few dutch ones that caught my eye.

Oleguer

Thimothee Atouba

Mika Vayrynen

Eric Addo

Dalibor Stevanovic

Bar Atouba (another left back? ), i've not heard of the others. Clearly I've not being playing nearly enough football manager!

They are mostly ones that had international caps but then I suppose you have to wonder why other teams havent snapped them up yet.

Apparently Liverpool are keen to loan Danny Wilson to a championship club !

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Wilson_(Scottish_footballer)

Given that Seabourne will be out for a while (same position/left footer) it could be a good option in the short term !

He was a sub for Scotland and was involved in the penalty that never was !

Danny Wilson would be an amazing loan signing, classy player for his age.

Danny Collins would be good option to take on loan for the CB position IMHO, he is a left footed (left sided) defender too.

What about Patrick Agyemang as a back up CF?

You would think that those two would be snapped up by us asap as they fit perfectly.

Here's hoping.

Danny Wilson would be an excellent addition - maybe Liverpool will be happy to loan him out as they seem to lose when he's playing for them. The downside may be that if Saints were to continue to do well with Wilson in the team, Liverpool might be less willing to extend the loan for the season, or to sell him.

hasn't he just torn up his contract to be with his son who has been diagnosed with cancer?

Haha! Are you serious? You never saw him come out a few days ago saying it's all rubbish and he doesn't even have a son? I didn't even know there were any rumours until I saw him deny it!

How about Rob Hulse as competition/cover for Rickie?

31 going on 32 so obviously not one for the future, but a proven goalscorer at this level and more of a target man than the other forwards we have. Just left out of QPR's 25 now they're rich again. Stop gap, until we move onto the next level in every sense.

Not sure of his wages but doubt he is on a fortune.

Pedant alert !

He scored the equalising goal for Luton against the Arse in the 1988 League Cup Final - Same time as Mary's Prayer was in the UK Top 10

League Cup Final on 24th April 1988, in which Danny Wilson scored an equaliser for Luton against Arsenal.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1988_Football_League_Cup_Final -

Mary's Prayer (by the band "Danny Wilson", hence the "joke") was at number 3 that week (and stayed there the week after).

http://www.chartstats.com/chart.php?date=28%2F04%2F1988

Very weirdly I actually remember listening to the chart the week before (Pet Shop Boys Heart was number 1 with Climie Fisher at number 2) in the car on the way back from an autograss racing meeting somewhere near Bath when I was 15. My brain scares me sometimes, along with my need to share information like that.
