This Charming Man Posted 7 November, 2011 Share Posted 7 November, 2011 I was in both those pubs on Saturday and they were average at best, the whole day reminded me what a dump of a city Coventry is. Hopefully we won't be going back there in a hurry! Should have joined us in The Greyhound. Proper old fashioned pub, loads of ales on offer, log fire on the go, nice setting on the canal... Have to be careful of the walk along the canal though, as too many of those fine ales, and you could fall in the water. Well that actually DID happen to one of the London Saints.... :-)

Did the trick anyway. Also good to see The Rocket at the station is still a fine and classy establishment!
Dangerous Albert Posted 7 November, 2011 Share Posted 7 November, 2011 Stayed in one of the Ricoh's excellent pitch side rooms. Trip to Cathedral and very good Transport Museum Great game Top weekend. Could have done without the fire alarm in the stadium late Sat night though !
