Suhari Posted 26 September, 2011 Posted 26 September, 2011 He swallowed his tongue. Where he ended up was pure luck This is third hand You can't swallow your tongue: not medically possible. It can block you breathing though.
Matthew Le God Posted 26 September, 2011 Posted 26 September, 2011 He swallowed his tongue. Where he ended up was pure luck This is third hand You need to inform the second hand and first hand that it is impossible to swallow your tongue.
skintsaint Posted 26 September, 2011 Posted 26 September, 2011 Course its possible to swallow your tongue lol
Colinjb Posted 26 September, 2011 Posted 26 September, 2011 You need to inform the second hand and first hand that it is impossible to swallow your tongue. You idiot. When you get knocked unconscious it's not uncommon for your newly relaxed tongue to block the airways if you are laying on your back. This is swallowing your tongue, as the instinct to try and breathe keeps it there, it's a very common source of complications in sporting injuries, one of the first things a first aider will do is check that the airways are clear for exactly this reason.

Everyone realises this. There would have been no need for that clarification if that fool hadn't waded in again.
Appy Posted 26 September, 2011 Posted 26 September, 2011 You need to inform the second hand and first hand that it is impossible to swallow your tongue. You're losing your touch.
