Lol it teams think we would consider selling lallana!

Look how long it took to agree on ox sale, the big teams would've taken note of what it takes to prise away talent from "new" saints now!

If the big teams think they could buy our best player then good luck to them. This is where having someone like the don running the ship allows me to rest easy...

This is all very well, but if the player wants to go / puts in a transfer request, then it becomes very difficult to keep the player. The only reason we kept MLT was because he wanted to stay. If we had been playing in Div 2 in those days, then even he might have wanted to ply his trade at a higher level.

At some stage it will come down to whether or not we get promotion. If we do, Adam will probably stay unless one of the big 5 come knocking.

Adams dad is a big Everton fan and Adam would have followed them with abit of interest too,he did used to own an Everton shirt in his younger years.

I noticed in the mirror that Everton will give Moyes a chunk of the 10-million to spend, well the full 10-million would be short of what it would take to get Lallana, try adding a chunk to it & a deal might be possible if & only if he wanted to go & we wanted to sell. They can't afford him & a club going backwards.

To be honest there finish mid table at best this season but i see them struggling, we have the winning mentality and better potential then Everton to go somewhere with our current board and management, if moyes leaves Everton they would be ****ed, hes the best manager in that league outside the top 4/5.

Funny, I consider Pulis as a better manager then him.

Both good managers but Moyes has not had the same funding as Pulis, i think he spent more then Moyes has in the last 2 years in one night on transfer deadline day.

Moyes has spent a fair amount in the past.

Strange response given that no-one can buy him until January now anyway ?

Exactly!

Well, no, we're discussing whether it might have happened in the last window or not, pretty sure everyone's fairly certain he didn't sign for them what with the squad photo and open training session the day after the window closed...

Eh? I believe the thread was refering to Everton making a last ditch bid to sign Llalana and not what might or might not have happened in the last T/F window.

We know now that he's going nowhere unless out on loan which wont happen.

I have it from someone who was sat with Brian Howard last night, that he got one of two offers of loans. One from Barnsley and a precautionary one from us, after Everton made a last ditch bid for Llalana. For those that know the area, Howard is a regular in the Totton&Eling club, especially on deadline day, and that was where he took the call from his agent last night. Obviously it came to noothing and the Toffees were prob panic bidding after losing Arteta, and no doubt it was a straight No from Cortese, but thats what happened!

If you can't write and make sense don't bother !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The person who has contributed the most telling comment on this thread has so far been ignored. ;)

To be fair, he had no right to introduce a fact which interfered with others' opinions :):)

I'm sure he would have known (even via agents and other conduits) and also sure NA and NC would realise he would at some point find out, so can't believe they would have hidden it from him.

Big story for me if we, or he, or both turned Everton down, as I think Lallana makes us tick.

You don't say!!!!

Why do so many people on here get reeled in by so many of these so called football rumour sites, many of which are total bollix and are`nt worth the air time.Players like Adam are`nt going to just up sticks for the sake of a surposed big move.
