manji Posted 1 September, 2011 Share Posted 1 September, 2011 Can you ask him why on the first day of season ticket renewals the free parking lasted for 30 mins, but on the 2nd day it was reduced to 15 just to get a few more pounds from loyal supporters / customers? In fact, if it is at the stadium tonight, have you been issued with a parking permit? I was joking with my list. I hope you are with your petty list. The9 Posted 1 September, 2011 Share Posted 1 September, 2011 You what??? Are you mental? Danny Fox - 29 top flight appearances Steve de Ridder - 60 top flight appearances Jack Cork - 11 top flight appearances Jos Hooiveld - 118 top flight appearances Ask him if he ever reads this forum and if so is he embarrassed by the ignorance of a lot of the people on here. "Top Flight" does not mean "the League above the Championship", so based on that you can write off Hooiveld and de Ridder's experience, leaving 11 games for Cork and 29 for Fox, both in relegated teams. As it happens, I think Cork's a great signing, Fox could be good, de Ridder I'm expecting to be excellent, and I'm not passing opinion on Hooiveld until I actually see him play - I'm merely saying your response to a question about players being "good enough to compete in the League above" is by no means the best way to illustrate it. 1976_Child Posted 1 September, 2011 Share Posted 1 September, 2011 the first set of accounts showed £20m of debt to the current owner(s). Is there any chance whatsoever that the club could be saddled with that debt should perhaps the current owners sell the club? That is just an accounting thing. Owner sets up company, makes a Director's Loan to company to get the ball rolling and so technically the company then has a liability to the owner.... who in the case of SFC and the holding company is/was ML. So he owes money to himself, basically. Really not a worry - if Miss/Ms Liebherr decides to sell then the price will include the repatriation of the director's loan. Is there any chance whatsoever that the club could be saddled with that debt should perhaps the current owners sell the club? The club could be saddled with that debt, but the wealth of the new owner could equally accommodate that. Alternatively the club could be sold with no outstanding debt, yet the buyer has to borrow to make the purchase? Maybe better to ask if we can find another Markus should they decide to sell. The one thing the club seems to be doing is charging LOYAL FANS more money to follow Saints.Whether or not its a ticket tax,car parking charges or charging £3.50 for a little bottle of beer(instead of a full pint), in the concourse. Most Saints fans i know, who attend games occasionally, are disgusted by the cost of watching Saints for one game in the Championship.

georgeweahscousin Posted 2 September, 2011 Share Posted 2 September, 2011 From a tweeter (@minterrrr) who went last night:- Burnley offered Jay Rodriguez £8000 a week more than we were prepared to pay #saintsfc We did not try to sign Beckford #saintsfc In the first team squad highest paid are Lambert/Lallana on £25000, lowest £5000 #saintsfc They have considered moving the away supporters but no plans at the moment #saintsfc Adkins was very unhappy about the open training on Thursday because they practice all sorts of secret signalling #saintsfc We have 15000 season ticket holders #saintsfc The person responsible for season ticket distribution has been sacked #saintsfc
georgeweahscousin Posted 2 September, 2011 Share Posted 2 September, 2011 and more:- Adkins was the first one they interviewed for the job. georgeweahscousin Posted 2 September, 2011 Share Posted 2 September, 2011 re Chamberlain there was never a question of selling him to Arsenal and having him back on loan.. #saintsfc as his parents would not be welcome in the ground ever again . #saintsfc We offered him same wages as Arsenal have put him on, but his parents pushed for him to go so he went. #saintsfc Arsenal orignally offered 3mil. georgeweahscousin Posted 2 September, 2011 Share Posted 2 September, 2011 We made a bid for an arsenal player who ended up going on loan to West Ham #saintsfc but Cortese thinks they rejected us because of the whole Chamberlain thing. #saintsfc Arsenal had shady dealings and actually did a secret medical with chamberlain last season. We considered reporting them to the FA.#saintsfc Warnock made comments about us and Jack Cork. He got fined by the FA. #saintsfc minterrrr: We were the only club who ever had official permission approach Cork and Chelsea were very good at only letting us speak to him. #saintsfc
