peacey Posted 1 September, 2011 Posted 1 September, 2011 Julio santa cruz, roques brother?? Woth a shout??
Dark Munster Posted 1 September, 2011 Posted 1 September, 2011 Does the 25 man squad rule apply to the football league? If so, it's very unlikely we'll be signing anyone on loan, unless they're home grown and under the age of 21. If it were a minimum 25 man squad rule then Cheats FC would be truly f*cked.
shurlock Posted 1 September, 2011 Posted 1 September, 2011 (edited) Sam Vokes? Nathan Delfouneso? Edited 2 September, 2011 by shurlock
1976_Child Posted 2 September, 2011 Posted 2 September, 2011 well if Lambo feels it beneath him to get on the team bus to our next away game then he can damn well pay for his own petrol. And parking. Especially parking.
Wilf Posted 2 September, 2011 Posted 2 September, 2011 Chris Martin, Simeon Jackson and Afobe are great shouts. Would be very happy with any of those three. OK, lots of support on here for Jackson and Martin of Norwich, including warm words from Dalek who I believe lives in Norwich, however.... I've seen them both quite a lot over the last couple of years and I wouldn't want either of them at Saints, because this is how they seem to me.... Martin: seems lazy to me, seriously lazy! If the ball lands at his feet in the box he might well stick it away, but don't expect him to run to get there, and certainly don't expect him to track back or generally look interested during a game. Jackson: Had a great spell at the end of last season; however up till then had seemed very lightweight, lacking in conviction and confidence, easily shoved off the ball, making the wrong runs and generally falling over a lot. Make no mistake, Grant Holt is the main man for Norwich up front, Martin and Jackson have done very little compared to him.
Dazza82 Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 I think we should be looking at West brom they have got Long,Odemwingie,Marc-Antoine Fortune,Roman Bednar and Simon Cox Plus some other young Strikers. I think we should be looking at Cox imo, but also rekon Bednar and Fortune will be up for grabs. One of them 3 players will go out on loan imo.
SaintRichmond Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 Am I right in thinking we can't get players from overseas during the loan window? Have Arsenal got any youngsters they can send this way for once?[/QUOTE] Chamberlain for example ......... at least he'd get a game with us
Derekwright Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 Simon cox at west broom, great striker and great pro
Cricketphilly Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 Simon cox at west broom, great striker and great pro A sweeper surely?
S-Clarke Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 Mame Biram Diouf? Been told he can go out on loan by Man Utd.
Flyer Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 Simon cox at west broom, great striker and great pro Hes not, he was a guest at a mates coaching course and told them being a footballer was easy, they didnt have to eat properly or train hard and generally was a complete ****. Agyemang and Hulse are available from QPR if you need pace or a target man.
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 I was thinking about what would happen if @rse loan Chamberlain to another championship side. Does anyone know if Saints might have put a clause into the terms of sale stating that @rse cannot loan him out to a team in the same division as us? Sounds like a good idea...
K,Billy's supersound Posted 3 September, 2011 Posted 3 September, 2011 well we need another centerback now to replace seaborne and a striker. i wouldnt mind fuller on a 3 month loan experienced old pro to help lambert/barnard
