so that's rumours of 22, 24, 25 and 27k then. the ticket office staff have proved every game they seem to know bugger all. you'd have thought the info was available but it always contradicts.
yre

I wonder if anybody has ever had a member of the ticket office staff just say they have no idea about the attendance. It's almost as if they're under instruction to just take a guess.

Am actually Gutted that I can't make the game tomorrow as I'm going on holiday to Majorca on my Dads Brothers boat that he's rented out for the week which I am looking forward to and that should be Pretty Good!

So fingers crossed that Saints will do me proud and win again and that we can go top depending on how Brighton do at Bristol City or something and other results go our way aswell but we'l see!

Am going to go for 3-1 Saints with Lambert (2!) n Lalanna/Cork for Saints n Miller/McGugan or however his name is spelt for Forest to hopefully pile some more misery on Forest and especially Steve Mclaren!!!

The last time I was on holiday was the 1st game of the season when we beat Leeds 3-1, Torquay in the Carling Cup n Millwall in the league!

COYR :D!!!

If Saints do well out of the next 3 game's and You catch something worth cooking (what else are boat's for, apart from going from A to B). I will not totally blame you unless it doesn't go exactly to plan.

My gut feeling is that we will win. More specifically Adkins would have worked on fitness through the break and I wouldn't be suprised if we put 3 or 4 past them.

We've been to enough away days over the years expecting a spanking and it's about time others came to us feeling the same. We are in form, we are a strong team, we are Southampton. You've got every reason to be nervous coming here Forest. (watch us get dicked now I've said that)

Some stats from the BBC site; shame they spelt Adkins wrong:

Southampton

• Defending a 100% record at St Mary's, and chasing a 12th successive home league victory; an outright club record, if achieved.

• Nigel Atkins is completing his first year in charge of the Saints.

• Victory would give them 15 points after the first six games of a league season for the first time, and make it their best start in 76 years.

Nottingham Forest

• Averaging a point a game (five from five), and vying for only their second league win of the season.

• One of two clubs to have scored just one away goal in this Championship campaign. The other is bottom of the table Doncaster.

• 75% of the league goals Forest have let in, have been conceded in the first half (six of eight).

It's going to be interesting to see how we respond to the first defeat of the season last time out and whether we have the determination and belief to bounce back straight away. In some ways, the manner of how we play is more important than the result. However, the way we've been playing so far, I'd expect us to win at home today.

Hooiveld starts. Think it'll be, Davis Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveld, Harding, Guly Hammond Cork Lallana, Conolly, Lambert
This is true Hooiveld does start today and Cork is playing at RB with Morgan in the middle with Hammond,Richardson and Butterfied injured.

Harding must be injured as well then, seem to have picked up a lot of niggles in a 10 day period with no football at all and

2 weeks since the last league game.

Listening to McClaren's interview on their equivalent of Saints Players, seems like they have picked up a lot injuries as a result of the international fixtures - something which we were largely spared of.

My physio session was booked for 4:14 UK time so would have missed the game.

They phoned Thursday and changed it to 1:15 UK time. Cool so I can now listen to the game.

It's a sign. I can have an OSH to relieve the pain

From the exercises and then enjoy the win against Forest

Good man - enjoy!!

Mrs EoA was let out of hospital y'day, can't put any weight on her leg for 3 months and I've got her some L plates for her zimmer!!!

She has given me 90 mins off my good behaviour and I've got a selection of Fursty Ferret, Spitfire, Boddies and London Pride to get me thru the match.

Weather in Lancs is as expected cold, bllustery and showery ... hoping for a ray of sunshine from Southampton this afternoon.
