I'm just waiting for the inevitable - Sibley to appear on twitter and inform us to check the website in the morning for some big news.

If there is another player involved then he would need to agree terms as well - can't see Dons being able to match Dickson's wages for example, they must be pretty low payers.

It's the talk of Stadium:MK!

Interestingly enough that the local MK paper is reporting this evening that an unnamed club has had a bid turned down today. That's the way we do business if I'm not mistaken.

He would fit the squad profile as I know his personality would sit with NA & co very well. He's no Billy Big-B*****ks in fact he's just the opposite.

It all makes sense to me all round.

Deal very close last I heard but not quite over the line just yet.

Very happy if it goes through. Sure, I'm biased but the fans will take to him.

Very good finisher, young and has bags of potential.

Like a young version of Connolly.

If it weakens the franchise i'm happy. Aside from the Skates they are the only entity in football that genuinely makes my skin crawl.

The strike he produced against us to make it 2-0 has stayed long in the memory. Thank heavens for Jonno that day.

Any more than £2m is excessive, otherwise a better value deal than many suggested at £6m or even Sharp at £3.2m.

Hope Dickson is not released.

Not as excessive as 12m for a 17 year old league one striker that a manager doesnt trust for a 5 minute run out when 3-1 up and have 2 away goals!

Does it really matter how much it costs if its 1 or 2 million over the odds if A) his goals keep us up 2) Gets us to play offs 3 ) beat the Skates?

I saw his goals at the weekend. Two great goals and one typical goal poacher finish. He looked sharp. What I'd like to know is does he have the pace we are currently lacking from our forward line?

Seem to remember he scored a cracker from outside the box against us at ours last year.

My recollection was in the box, after defenders/midfield allowed him too much time/space and it took a deflection.

(Good job you and I are not being called to give evidence of a hit and run isn't it ?)

Their forum talks of seaborne/barney(!) going t'other way? I know it's only speculative, but nonetheless. I'd be less enthused with this move if any core squad players go. They can have someone like Holmes if they fancy it?

If Seaborne went then we would definitely need another CB. Can't see it being Barney except on loan coz of his court case. Surely MK Dons wouldn't take a player at risk of jail time.

Let us not forget that Lee Barnard signed a contract extension last June..... It would be madness if he went as a makeweight.

Beatlesaint beat me to it. ;)

Seems quite odd, but I've been quite suspicious about his absence from all of our squads so far (U21's / Carling Cup / League). He was almost ready before the Leeds game...

Seaborne wouldn't be going, he is currently a first choice CB.

It'll be either Dickson or Barnard........ Most likely Dickson.

I would not want to release either at this stage frankly. LB remains a cult hero, and his case aside, I think he can make an impact still. Dickson has as much to offer as Harding, moreso going forward, and could play LM if required.

Won't they take Holmes and Forecast ?

Now there's a plan we could all appreciate! Well, with Forecast anyway. :)

As someone who sits firmly on the 'Harding' side of the LB debate, I personally feel it would be kinder to send Dickson to a club where he could get regular football without playing potentially third fiddle after the two Dans.

Holmes appears to be ahead of Dickson for left midfield and we all know that no professional club would even look at Forecast......unless like Pulis he has a famous father who could loan them a decent player from his club for looking after the kid :-)
