Leicester build up

You sound as if you are having some kind of break down. Furthermore your views are so extreme that I am getting very angry and I can only come to the conclusion that you are WUM. What is worse is that you will probably continue to pedal these views over the next 8 years until the Honey Monster is made our manager, despite the fact that this has had nothing to do with the vast majority of sensible posters on this forum.

Thngs are getting so bad I may just add you to my ignore list....ok ?

I would consider that a breach of my freedom of speech.

This is suppsoed to be a discussion forum, right?

It is the main story on the Southampton FC website and has been for quite a few hours now...

Sorry about that, I hadn't checked the OS, due to being out on the **** and only looking on here with a dodgy Internet connection. Thanks very much for answering my question though. Love you. Jack xx

From http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leicester_city/

The ground is walkable from the city centre (15-20 minutes), where there are plenty of pubs to be found. Most of the pubs near to the stadium are home fans only. In particular 'The Victory' and 'The F Bar' pubs should be avoided by visiting supporters. Plus the 'Half Time Orange' pub located just over the road from the away end, is a members-only Leicester City bar.

Andy Jobson a visiting Southampton fan informs me; 'Probably the best bet for away fans is the Counting House pub on Freemens Common Road. It has a good mix of both sets of supporters, with all the normal facilities on offer'. Beaumont Fox adds; 'This pub is located just off the Aylestone Road, behind the Local Hero pub (home fans only) and next to Morrisons Supermarket. It does though exclude away supporters when the game is deemed to be a 'high profile' one'. I have also been informed that the nearby Holiday Inn Express on Filbert Way, also has a bar which away fans have been using. David Moore adds; 'If away fans fancy a quiet drink in a CAMRA Good Beer Guide listed pu,b then the Swan & Rushes (on Infirmary Square, near the Royal Infirmary) always has excellent guest ales on'.

For those arriving by train then 'The Hind' pub across the road from the station serves a selection of real ales. Otherwise alcohol is available inside the stadium, however this can be a bit of a 'hit and miss affair' depending on which team you support. Richard Aquilina explains; 'Certainly alcohol wasn't available in the away end on our visit. The pumps were covered with black bags and the signs were covered with cardboard! When I enquired further it appears that alcohol is not sold for high profile games. By high profile I think they mean more than a few hundred fans as there obviously isn't any history between Leicester and Rovers as this is the first time we met at this level'.

Looking forward to my 1st away game of the season.

I think a scrappy 2 - 1 win to us. Leicester are still trying to get it together so a great time for a team thats bang in form to go there. We go full of confidence whereas Leicester's confidence can't be tip top. Oh and I don't rate Sven so perhaps thats just one other reason i'm bias.

Mind you I have been known to be wrong on more than one occasion! Especially when its Saints!

Bit annoyed, had a chance to be back in UK this weekend but the darned UAE Government declared a 5 day Eid break for Public Sector last week (giving them NINE days off) and the price of flighhts trebled overnight. Grrr.

Memories of going to Filbert Street many years ago, meeting a load of London Saints, watching Anders carve them a new one and singing "Like Watching Brazil" as we wallopped them 4-1.

With the starts both teams have had we really should be able to repeat that, but then I've been a Saints fan for too long and deep down still expect normal service to be resumed at any moment, so have this one down as a 2-1 to Leicester.

Having said that, IF we really keep going, the dancing round the office tonight listening to DM will be even Sweeter than the drive back to Heathrow after that Anders day.

Have fun guys, give them an extra scream from me please.

I have a feeling a star player is injured as people are saying Fox is playing, we know you should not change a winning team.

Lallana plays we win 3-1, if he don't play we will grind out a 3-1 victory :D

Im really uncertain as to this fixture in terms of a punt and that should be enough to steer clear! If i had to answer as to the most likely outcomes I would say home win, score draw and >2.5goals in the game.

My head says home win.

The form says we should win.

The head to head record says we should win.

But I have been a Saints fan to long to expect us to win.

I was going to predict a 3-2 win, but went for a 2-2 draw in the hope that the first prediction now comes true.

Yes you are entitled to say that. i don't think we will be relegated. I think we will consolidate our place in the league this year.

Well, you're just a happy clappy, head-in-the-clouds, deluded Cortese worshipper, then.

I think we'd be lucky to add to our present tally of 12 points this season to be honest. Especially given we didn't sign any decent players in June.

I don't think our lack of signings will help us but I do believe we will add to our points tally. Having said that you might be proved right.

I don't understand. The Leicester fans are saying we'll play an open attacking game and it will suit their game....but we're saying the same of them as well. Therefore = 0-0!

Just had a quick peep on their forum. Looks like they will be playing a midfield diamond so not a lot of width - should suit us IMHO.
