great result...they are like a mega league 1 team...have had a couple sent off this season already and scored 2 goals in each of their games so far before today...

was like league 1 all over again....dirty game...

happy with that, 12 points and top of the league......still

Just the game (and result) we needed.

Lol at Saints Player League Table - we're top but have 10 points from 4 games.

Word of advice to those tuning in to SaintsPlayer for the next game - it has been a sod to get into all season so today started it up 30 mins early. Worked second time after hitting F5,

Feck...meant to be doing DIY, but had to keep checking on teh score...sat in front of teh BBC web page for last 15 mins... mare.... good test and will hopefully ensure feet firmly on ground... would be great if someone can give a short overview of how we played/they played etc. Where they 'in our face' and are we likely to see this sort of thing agin from otehr teams?

Congrats on 10 league wins in a row and 4 wins out of the first 4 - great record.

brilliant result . Love how Adkins is happy to keep changing things to try and nullify a threat.

The lads deserve their rest now a full 7 days before the next one

I bloody love my club

Good to see we can grind out a result and hold out under pressure. I wonder if we will see any transfer activity next week?

Keep telling myself - we aren't going to win every game, we're going to be ouplayed at some point, would've taken mid table at the start of the season -so why am I iso bloody nervous during every game?

Good to see Brighton throw away a 2-0 lead to only draw 2-2 at home to Blackpool. Derby keeping up with Saints.

and only 19000 fans, spare seats in the home sections...

did not last long

Sounded a tough game.

Well done though, 4 wins out of 4, think I will have a few more beers tonight :)

Bloody Derby winning though, work shall be fun again on Monday.

They aren't down. With the money they're spending they're going to be up there sadly. Big horrible team to play, lots of 0-0s and 1-0 wins I imagine. Huge wages spent, they're clearly ignoring the experience of previous years again. But no-one will mention it. Really annoys me.

can sense another game like today when we play them...big, horrible, dirty, hard team

Really? That's very surprising seeing as though only about 1000 go on general sale each game

I just love the fact then when Millwall come to town they show their true colours..."F Troop" was so 1980's lads...grow up and go back to Cold Blow Lane!

I should have put a winky thing in but I didn't think it was necessary.

It was a very tough game, probably the toughest of the season so far.

Millwall didn't give us a second on the ball and were snapping out our hills constantly, so we never managed to gain any real possession, but we did try.

I thought some of the lads looked a little leggy too (not surprising given our start!) but they all showed tremendous grit and determination to win that, exactly the sort of win that's driven from a ''winning mentality''.

I thought Cork was magnificent again, not his best day looking ''pretty'' on the ball, but his grit and drive to win the ball back, go in for tackles etc was great, and when we did need that bit of composure on there he was able to provide it, such as that quality pass for Guly, who actually played well again as he has all season IMO, and his goal was fantastic but he worked so hard all game.

Lambo lead the line excellently too, but Conners had a quieter game and looked a little tired, which is why I feel we could still do with another forward option on the bench.

Overall can't really complain. Astonishing start to the season and a fantastic record run of results which I never thought i'd see as a saints fan.

Long may it continue!!

Luckily no mid week game this week which is nice.

Yes Adam totally fine just completely ****ed.

We were very very lucky to get the win today. If there number 8 could finish he might have had a hatrick. Not mention the goal lone scrambles. They were probably the best team we've played so far.

Nice to grind out an ugly win, we are going to have a few games like today is this division, at times we let them drag us down to their level. Just shows you what sort of nutters follow Millwall when we scored pulled the black net away to try and get to the people in the Northam. Solent had a text to say it had kicked off in the North Car Park.

All credit to Millwall, their game plan was spot on but the through ball to Guly was just too good.

Our corners were awful, that needs work and we need a plan B in case of coming across a side like this. The Lions targeted Seaborne as a weak link but all credit he just about held firm.

I'm looking forward to Leicester, I doubt they will give us as much bother as Kenny Jackett's side.

Sounded like he had 2 direct elbow into his face incidents but only a yellow card for the 2nd one.,

All fair comments from what I saw.

But worried about the way we sat back and gave them space after we scored, seems to be a recurring theme.

Seaborne did hold firm, but he is a weak spot and I reckon it was a couple of incidents involving him that gave them heart in the second half.

Seemed like we were being a bit too clever and tippy-tappy without any resolve to go forward at times.

What a god awful team Ipswich are, i think pretty much all pundits tipped them as the ''surprise'' package.

Yeah, they're totally surprising the pundits predictions!

He's surely sacked after this? They weren't even that good last year under him.
