um pahars Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 playing mcgoldrick upfront on his own is never gonna work,we play better 4-4-2,jan cannot see it,we are no threat upfront,no goals in 3 games says it all. But we're also not very good at the back. 10 goals in 4 games!!!!!!!!!
LGTL Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Away to Forest at the end of season could be an important game..
Arizona Posted 25 October, 2008 Author Posted 25 October, 2008 Because it`s our club... Had one end of last season. I don`t buy this **** about Pearson being more expensive. Why did we buy Schniderlien if we had no money? Simple, Lowe choses when we are poor. We can't afford a manager, who may well have us midtable at this point in time, yet we can afford to fork out £1.2m for some French teenager. We can't afford John, Saga or Rasiak, but can afford Robertson, Pekhart, Gasmi, Smith, Pulis and Forecast.
Fan The Flames Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Naaaaaarwich equalise 1-1 Its bad when this is the highlight of our day in OCTOBER.
Guest Hacienda Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Why are people getting angry for? We got no money and we certainly will not get any kind of decent manager now as they know how badly in finance ****e the club is in. We had a decent manager but the luvvies, so desperate to defend their lord and master, insist it was a money issue when it clearly wasn't.
John B Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 This is the kind of comment I struggle with. Why can we not slag off the youngsters? If they wear the shirt and draw a wage for playing, then they are a fair target as far as I'm concerned if they don't perform. Well I think slagging them off makes the situation worse. We are supposed to be supporters helping the team They cannot be happy with their performances and their confidence is rock bottom.

Arizona Posted 25 October, 2008 Author Posted 25 October, 2008 The fans are singing Stern John's name. Hoping to get to the Bristol City game and a few others in November. It's getting towards singing for him, Saga, Rasiak, wing Lowe, Nigel Pearson's Red and White Army etc.
Guest Hacienda Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 We are supposed to be supporters helping the team By going to games prehaps?

skintsaint Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 what saddens me most was when in the Prem, our team was definately one of the worst on paper, yet the fans always got behind the team and it seemed to spur on average players to up their game and cause some upsets along the way. These days we are in the same boat, yet a league lower and we have all seemed to have given up and blamed all the backroom drama. Saints need the fans right now and its not helping that none turn up
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Surely it is time for the fans to do something... we must force Lowe to find a buyer - put such pressure on him that he is desperate to get out. He arrogantly thought he could turn things round and get the value of his investment back to what it was. Now maybe he will realise that the best thing is just to get out!!! Any buyer has got to be better than Lowe! A fans protest maybe?
Arizona Posted 25 October, 2008 Author Posted 25 October, 2008 & Smith, Cork, Holmes and Wotton I mentioned Smith. Cork and Holmes are apparently quite good and I'm glad they're in our squad. Wotton may be pretty average, but we are going to need him to fill gaps in defence and midfield this season. The six I mentioned just seem completely pointless. None of them add anything to the team as far as I can see. I'd take Saga over the whole lot of them at right now.
Guest Hacienda Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Where's Scooby? He was outed as Andrew White, wannabie film maker, who was using this as "performance art". Since being outed he hasn't posted.
Viking Warrior Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 ******s What a miserable day, Saints get beat and the weather is horrendouds up here . um pahars Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Armstrong and Cope have been scathing about the performance and also about the tactics and team selection by Jan. They reckon they'll be asking Jan why he picked square pegs for round holes!!!! Cope even posing the question as to whether a change in manager is needed!!!! However, I'm sure some will blame the fans for not turning up!!!!!!!!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 we won a corner at the end so it`s not all bad ..
um pahars Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Naaaaaarwich 2 Donny 1 A sort of phewwwwww. I know Norwich pull away, but it's more important to keep Donny below us.
