Seaborne wont be going anywhere until we sign a a new CB. Even then I'd rather keep him if Jaidi is going to be out for a while. Maybe we could just loan out one of Seaborne or Martin.

Depends what they are offering really. I wouldn't be sup prised if there still is a deal in the works for a true CB to partner Fonte and this move was part of the plan (giving him a 1st team run to impress anyone watching).

 

He's been good (a lot better than some of his outings last season) but I'm still petrified any time a ball comes at him in the air.

We need him in the squad at the moment, although a new CB signing could see him sold as Martin and Jaidi are both solid back-ups.

Included in last weeks' championship team of the week (something our idolised Jose/Jack or Rickie didn't achieve) and played very strongly Midweek. Not sure how much more he needs "to step up" to satisfy some of our fans.

He was not poor. He won everything in the air against a big lump of a player. I was impressed with his heading, but he's not great on the floor. Him and Harding are not good at the passing game which is what Adkins is all about. That said they can improve

Wouldn't mind him going if we signed another left-footed centre-back. Until then, we should probably keep him, he's a useful back-up. We do need to sign another centre-back as good as Fonte though, that's probably our weak link atm. Seaborne and Martin are good as back-ups and Jaidi seems to be on his way out, so our priority should be a quick striker and another first-choice centre-back.
