wightman35 Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Looks like a unanimous "NO" then from us, but would obviously suit the spec for some teams as mentioned above.
benjii Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Given that opinion is so split, maybe this should be a poll?
RinNY Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Terrific player when fit & motivated; head case, however, injury prone, and on the down slope of his career. We have an experienced head in Hammond; we have excellent and hungry young players, with lots of upside still, in Cork, Morgan, Chaplow, & Lallana. What exact role would Bullard play, except to disrupt the dressing room & retard the development of one or other of our younger players? No thanks.
John Boy Saint Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Crock............... only use would be slicing the half time oranges!
Foxstone Posted 19 August, 2011 Posted 19 August, 2011 He's one more injury short of being turned into glue.. Stay well clear!
saint1977 Posted 19 August, 2011 Posted 19 August, 2011 Phil Brown was crazy to give him a 5 year deal at Hull, Fulham didn't offer him a longer deal due to his knee problems - I think there was even a direct quote from Roy Hodgson so Hull were warned. CM is an area of the pitch where we are seriously strong anyway, we need a CB and a pacy striker and it seems NA and NC are on the case. I've got a feeling QPR might offer him a pay-as-you-play. After all, Keiron Dyer will need a buddy for the physio's room!
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 August, 2011 Posted 19 August, 2011 He's a money grabber. That really is all there is to it - Fulham fans I know found that out rather quickly. Bad injury record and a questionable attitude too. Avoid at all costs I'd say. That said, Warnock wants him at QPR, was meant to be their top transfer target at the start of the summer.
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 19 August, 2011 Posted 19 August, 2011 Nice bloke, good player, but wages would be too high and wouldn't be a good fit for us. Perfect for the DFCSB's though.
