Under Weststand Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 As it says on the tin well done Nigel http://www.leaguemanagers.com/news/news-6845.html?
miserableoldgit Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 But how can someone that`s a physio and not a proper manager achieve this? Well Done, Nigel and well deserved!!
Give it to Ron Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Shouldnt that go to Pardew? As Adkins is nothing but a physio and only getting results because its Pardews team? PS You had to have read the Brighton thread to understand this ;-)
saint lard Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 An so he should, well done to all thus far.... Last post for 24 hrs...strategic posting is fun.

Miltonaggro Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Well done to Nigel Adkins! It may be worth reminding the Brighton faithful that former Liverpool manager Bob Paisley was also 'just a physio' and he won six league titles and three European Cups...
VectisSaint Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 But how can someone that`s a physio and not a proper manager achieve this? Well Done, Nigel and well deserved!! Just shows that being a physio and a player makes for a better manager than being just a (ugly Uruguayan) player
saintjay77 Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Well done Nige. Could he be a future England manager? I know its far to early to think about now but if his success continues and we get to the prem and do well with him I think his name will be banded about as a possiblity. Long way to go of course.

PAAH!! that was easy it was just Bill Shankly's team that
AussieDog Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Wasn't Mourinho just Bobby Robson's interpreter at Porto? This management lark must be really easy! lol

PS You had to have read the Brighton thread to understand this ;-) I did. What a complete and utter pillock that poster was - one only hopes that he hadn't yet turned 9 years of age - what a dunce. Well done Nige - richly deserved. But let's not rest on our laurels, win it next month as well...!!! I don't want much, do I.

His stock must be raising as his success continues and if he manages to take us into the prem it will raise further. Who would of thought that we may get to the stage where we could be worrying about losing our Physio to the prem or even England? lol I know its a long long way off but 6 months ago I wouldnt of even contemplated it. Now I actually think it could be a possability!
Miltonaggro Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 As opposed to Leicester, who win the LMAO award this week Nice one! They are hoping to win for the LMFAO title by the end of the season, I wish them luck with that and feel that they could do it...
Appy Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 as opposed to leicester, who win the lmao award this week lol
