SaintAndy14 Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Hey guys, I know there is already a thread on this in the away section but thought I would bring it to people's attention on here as they may not realise... Just phoned the ticket office up to ask when the Leicester away tickets would be going on sale as it's pretty close now and the guy said they were already on sale, despite there being nothing on the OS about this! Thought I would start a thread on it just in case people were waiting for the club to announce that they were on sale - they haven't yet, but they most definitely are! Bring it on!
scott_saints Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Win on Sat and it should be a big following. How much?
Saint Garrett Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 (edited) I had a look on the book online part of the website last night, and it didnt even log in. Thought it was strange that they'd left it this late to announce it. odd. Just had a look.... Adult £25, u22s £17, u18 £15, u12 £7, u8, £6 Edited 17 August, 2011 by Saint Garrett
Bailey Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Just booked 4 tickets, so they're definitely on sale! I'm sure we'll take a few up there, doesn't take long to get to Leicester and promises to be a good game. Looking forward to it, will be an even contest and there's no reason why we can't come away with something. Good prices too. Very reasonable, especially for those 22 and under.
CFSFC Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 thats very poor from sfc on this one.... But oh well we're top the league.
Sour Mash Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 I went on the website and clicked on "Latest Ticket Office News" and got this http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1761089,00.html Our ticket office is hard work to say the least these days, don't know if its just us, but they certainly don't seem in any rush to release away tickets for sale.
SaintAndy14 Posted 17 August, 2011 Author Posted 17 August, 2011 Is the £3 tax per ticket over the phone? Per booking mate, i.e. book as many tickets as you like/as many games as you can and will still be £3
SaintAndy14 Posted 17 August, 2011 Author Posted 17 August, 2011 I went on the website and clicked on "Latest Ticket Office News" and got this http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1761089,00.html Our ticket office is hard work to say the least these days, don't know if its just us, but they certainly don't seem in any rush to release away tickets for sale. I did the same and saw that they still had last seasons stuff up - decided just to ring up and was very surprised to find out they were on sale despite no news about it from the club, hence the thread to make people aware as clearly the club aren't letting people know!
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Since David Luker left that ticket office has become a ****ing shambles.
sugarbabe64 Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Anyone else going to Saints v Leicester in the afternoon then shooting off to Edgbaston afterwards HOPEFULLY to see Hamapshire in the final of the T20 ?
Ashby Saint Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Quick question. Do you Still need to be a member to buy away tickets over the phone? Will they post tickets out to you?
saint.tom.clancy Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 At reading festival, gutted I cant make our 5th straight Championship win.
Saint_Jonny Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 If we win Saturday I reckon we could take an impressive number to Leicester, if your thinking of getting a ticket just go out and get one, could be a great day!
Ashby Saint Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Quick question. Do you Still need to be a member to buy away tickets over the phone? Will they post tickets out to you? To answer my own questions. I phoned the ticket office and registered. All nice and easy to do. Now bought two tickets for the Leicester game - my daughter will be thrilled. Last time we went to a game was a few years ago at the Ricoh Arena and we had to sit with Coventry fans.

stockportsaint Posted 17 August, 2011 Posted 17 August, 2011 Since David Luker left that ticket office has become a ****ing shambles. Agreed. Unless it's down to Leicester not sending the tickets to SFC.
Johnny Shearer Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Is this game not on Sky? Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
Appy Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Is this game not on Sky? Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk No. Sent from my computer using keyboard.
rednrednredandwhite Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Agreed. Unless it's down to Leicester not sending the tickets to SFC. I believe tickets for leicester v bristol city only went on sale at bristol 9 days before the game, sounds like it is down to leicester
SamKimish Posted 18 August, 2011 Posted 18 August, 2011 Has everyone ignored the link I posted yesterday? Tickets are on sale, there's an article about it on the SaintsFC.co.uk homepage.
SaintAndy14 Posted 18 August, 2011 Author Posted 18 August, 2011 Has everyone ignored the link I posted yesterday? Tickets are on sale, there's an article about it on the SaintsFC.co.uk homepage. No mate, just I made this thread prior to the article being published by the club - I got tickets hours before the club even announced they were on sale hence starting this thread to make people aware.
Saint Garrett Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Has anyone received their tickets for this game yet ? Normally they're pretty good sending out tickets, but we ordered ours last Wednesday and still no sign !
shirleysfc Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Has anyone received their tickets for this game yet ? Normally they're pretty good sending out tickets, but we ordered ours last Wednesday and still no sign ! Same here, ordered last Wednesday and no tickets yet.
saint_jas Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Same here, ordered last Wednesday and no tickets yet. Got my ticket this morning after ordering online on Wednesday.
Golden Balls Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Ordered 8 today. Forgot to ask how many are left. Anyone know how many we're taking?
M271 Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Has anyone received their tickets for this game yet ? Normally they're pretty good sending out tickets, but we ordered ours last Wednesday and still no sign ! Ordered 2 online last Thursday evening and arrived in the post Saturday morning.
dune Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Might debate this. Sent from my Netbook using NASA certified voice recognition software. I'd love too see how NASA coped with our Wiltshire yokel fans.
DJ_TOAST Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 got 2 today. first away of the season...cant wait.
labibs Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Cannot wait for this game, first away match of the season. Horrible feeling Leicester may suddenly click and we'll get turned over. It's the pessimist in me...
Saint Garrett Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 I've only missed Ipswich so far due to not being able to get out of work, so fingers crossed for another win! I think we could go there and turn them over, but there is also a chance they could click. Both of their goals on Saturday against Forest, were gifts from Forest. Vassell and Nugent will be a threat but I think we'd got the squad harmony to go there and **** them !
saints_is_the_south Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Any idea how many sold for this yet? See we've not been allocated any more tickets yet, be hugely dissapointing not to take atleast 2k to this given the start we've had.
Bourno Posted 22 August, 2011 Posted 22 August, 2011 Tried to book online tonight said it couldn't contact the payment server. Just about to try again when I got an order confirmation showing seven booking fees and 5 adult tickets when I selected 1 adult one child and 3 oap's. 7 Coaches all sold out so have to drive.
SaintAndy14 Posted 22 August, 2011 Author Posted 22 August, 2011 Collected mine at the ticket office on Saturday - luckily I checked them before leaving as they had given me the wrong tickets! Said something like 'to be replaced - this is not a match day ticket' on them! Not too sure what's going on with our ticket office at the moment but they haven't impressed a lot of people recently

In Friday's Echo there was an ad for 'SOUTHAMPTON AWAY TRAVEL', first time I've seen it, could be an option for you. £18.50 (includes complimentary drink!), pick-ups in Hythe, Totton, Southampton (Toys'R'Us), Southampton Parkway and Winchester. The contact details are: Nick: 07801 867365, Alex: 07961 030850 or nickgregory2@gmail.com. I should be on commission!
LGTL Posted 23 August, 2011 Posted 23 August, 2011 Just had the post, and I still haven't received the tickets ordered a week ago. Its beginning to **** me off now because I won't be in any fit state on saturday to be worrying about duplicates. Not sure I hold out much hope of them arriving with the way the ticket office is at the moment.
Saint Garrett Posted 23 August, 2011 Posted 23 August, 2011 Probably going to give them a call and get them to send them out again.
rednrednredandwhite Posted 23 August, 2011 Posted 23 August, 2011 emailed ticket office yesterday, said they were sending them out yesterday (monday)
rednrednredandwhite Posted 23 August, 2011 Posted 23 August, 2011 What address did you email ? tickets@saintsfc.co.uk as for panicking easily, yes scott youre probably right. I think i'll wait until the postmans been on saturday morning
