Red Alert Posted 16 August, 2011 Share Posted 16 August, 2011 1165 people had a better evening than any of us here. Congrats to those at the game tonight. Listening to the Ipswich tatters and they had nothing but good words for us. Really impressed with the way we have started the season, lets hope we can build an early lead in the league. The Kraken Posted 16 August, 2011 Share Posted 16 August, 2011 That is a real marker put down. Ipswich will, IMO, be a very good team this year and we've just over-run them in all departments. Dominated posession, too, which is a real something away from home. It's still almost unbelievable to watch a Saints start a season in such impressive fashion. I'm loving it the team ethos NA has created in the squad.

Gigersaint Posted 16 August, 2011 Share Posted 16 August, 2011 I am absolutely speechless! Fantastic result, and even when I thought Ipswich were going to get back into it at 3-2, Saints weathered the storm and went on to score another 2! I lost on my double, but had Saints down as a win in a 7 fold, after Ipswich pulled 2 back with every other result going my way it made for a nervy ending. Eventually got 7 winners tonight from 11 but not sure how much I've won, waiting on Ladbrokes now.

doubleonothing Posted 16 August, 2011 Share Posted 16 August, 2011 This is a fantastic result!!! I think most on here would have taken a draw before and to score 5 away from home is pretty unbelievable! If we keep doing what we are doing now then who knows how far up this league we can finish. I'm sti not convinced we'll go up (mainly as i can't believe we have started this well) but will gladly have it thrown back at me in may.
