chivvy1664 Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Krysiak on standby for Swans start Swansea boss Roberto Martinez is trying frantically to sign some goalkeeping cover ahead of Southampton's visit to the Liberty Stadium. Number one Dorus de Vries has been ruled out for two months after suffering a depressed cheekbone and broken jaw in Tuesday's goalless draw with QPR. If he fails to recruit another shot-stopper in time, Martinez will be forced to start with back-up keeper Artur Krysiak. The 19-year-old Pole has been a regular for the second string this season and may deputise until a more experienced replacement is found. Spanish midfielder Andrea Orlandi is rated 50/50 for the clash and will face a fitness test on a thigh problem. But Thomas Butler made a brief substitute appearance against Rangers in midweek and may stake his claim for a place in the starting XI. im having a tenner on a mcgoldrick hatrick joking!

McGoldrick probably wouldn't score even if Swansea couldn't find a keeper and left the goal empty. He might stand a chance of scoring a penalty though.
saintstr1 Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Hopefully JP has the sense to leave McGoldrick sitting on his ass , And by the way this young polish keeper is ahead of Bart in polish International placings according to a polish friend of mine.

St.Patrik Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Well the news isnt that good anymore - they got a keeper on loan from Coventry... Good luck to the kit man trying to get his name spelled right.... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=10795
the scud Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Swansea have signed some Greek goalkeeper from Coventry on loan and has joined in time to play against us.
obelisk Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Emergency 'keepers always play a blinder against Saints. If we can't score with a free shot from 12 yards I don't think the Swans have too much to worry about.
St Chalet Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Seem to recall Casey Kellar doing a job for us against the skates a few years back. Watch this guy own the one shot we get on target this afternoon.
Saint Bones Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 Ahh bugger you all. Im going to do my best and hex him for this game c'mon saints win 4-0 with only three shot's on goal and one own goal
Fan The Flames Posted 25 October, 2008 Posted 25 October, 2008 He will probably score their third as well.
