Defo if you live out of southampton, I think almost all games have the full 90, extended and normal highlights, and there are also tonnes of other things that I don't bother with but other people seem to like

Great watch. That last 5 minutes I found difficult to watch 2 minutes ago. Work got in the way of me making the trip on saturday and looks like I missed a good one. Shall make up for it at Leicester - Hopefully.

Impressed by Seabourne after all the stick he was getting the Barnsley commentators reckon he was man of the match

Yep, that'd about do me. The only time i'd want to watch a full match (knowing the score) is a classic game i.e 76 final or beating Pompey.

Funny how you get quite a different interpretation of the game through radio. Seabourne looked excellent. Surprised AL missed from 7 yards. Should have been 6 up before the last 5 mins onslaught.

I just watched the whole lot and I do believe we are going way over the top in how good the team is, we did in spells play with some class but Barnsley are just ****.

No attacking idea except the odd pump up field which Seabourne was excellent.

Lallana is the most gifted player on the pitch while Guly is the best passer, if we had 6 of him attacking then it would be like watching Brazil.

What we are missing with that kind of performance is a brick ****house striker that will scare the defence with his pace, Lambert has become a deep midfielder option while Connolly is a superb poacher, I fear for Lambert's place as a fast striker would be awesome for us.

Overall we would be knocking on the playoff door with this kind of performance no doubt, but I fear a good attacking team against us as our defence will shake under pressure.

 

Btw a great commentary team Barnsley have compared to Merrington.

I'm not normally a grammar Nazi, but you clearly understand football as well as you understand the English language. We "was" clearly all over them for large parts of the game.

Nah. I can forgive the small mistakes, but "We was" is unforgivable.

You are right guys it was a terrible effort, I did the message with one hand on the toothbrush and my thumb doing the texting on the iPhone.

Must admit I never like to check what I write as I do spend far too long on the forum with my busy life.

Changed it now and I promise I will try harder in future.

That is precisely why I insisted on kicking off a "back from the match" thread, even though it was lunchtime on Sunday by then. There was some really weird stuff being said by people who clearly weren't there in the post-match thread(s).
