Matthew Le God Posted 14 August, 2011 Author Posted 14 August, 2011 That will be your connection probably, as it is fine for me. Try putting it on low quality.
shurlock Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 2nd half - 14m 50s if you're going to watch one segment.
macca155 Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 That was pure football porn I wonder if the Barnsley fans started to sing it's like watching Brazil Either Barnsley aren't very good or Saints are playing some of the best football seen since the early eighties
THEVMAN Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Great viewing,great performance,men against boys.
Johnny Shearer Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Is it worth signing up to Saints player then? Is there always extended match highlights?
Mattio Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Is it worth signing up to Saints player then? Is there always extended match highlights? Defo if you live out of southampton, I think almost all games have the full 90, extended and normal highlights, and there are also tonnes of other things that I don't bother with but other people seem to like

May look into getting it then. Cheers!
saintscottofthenortham Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 2nd half - 14m 50s if you're going to watch one segment. Great watch. That last 5 minutes I found difficult to watch 2 minutes ago. Work got in the way of me making the trip on saturday and looks like I missed a good one. Shall make up for it at Leicester - Hopefully.
Mattio Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Personally I prefer the 3 minute highlights. I couldn't watch 90 minutes when I know the result etc but I do like the 15-20 minute highlights
Saint Without a Halo Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Watched all 96 Impressed by Seabourne after all the stick he was getting the Barnsley commentators reckon he was man of the match Other notable performances from Lallana Cork Richardson and Guly We looked confident and in total control until they made their subs and we went down to 10 men.
dune Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 I couldn't watch 90 minutes when I know the result etc but I do like the 15-20 minute highlights Yep, that'd about do me. The only time i'd want to watch a full match (knowing the score) is a classic game i.e 76 final or beating Pompey.
Griffo Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Surprising how vocal our support is when watching it back. I didn't think it was that good when at the game.
waggy Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Yep, that'd about do me. The only time i'd want to watch a full match (knowing the score) is a classic game i.e 76 final or beating Pompey. heres hoping that you'll be watching at least two full matches this season, maybe more if we draw the sk8s in the cup!
Saintandy666 Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 I just watched the last 10 minutes... bloody tense!
channonball Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Funny how you get quite a different interpretation of the game through radio. Seabourne looked excellent. Surprised AL missed from 7 yards. Should have been 6 up before the last 5 mins onslaught.
Pilchards Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 (edited) I just watched the whole lot and I do believe we are going way over the top in how good the team is, we did in spells play with some class but Barnsley are just ****. No attacking idea except the odd pump up field which Seabourne was excellent. Lallana is the most gifted player on the pitch while Guly is the best passer, if we had 6 of him attacking then it would be like watching Brazil. What we are missing with that kind of performance is a brick ****house striker that will scare the defence with his pace, Lambert has become a deep midfielder option while Connolly is a superb poacher, I fear for Lambert's place as a fast striker would be awesome for us. Overall we would be knocking on the playoff door with this kind of performance no doubt, but I fear a good attacking team against us as our defence will shake under pressure. Btw a great commentary team Barnsley have compared to Merrington. Edited 14 August, 2011 by Pilchards

You lost me at "We was" I'm not normally a grammar Nazi, but you clearly understand football as well as you understand the English language. We "was" clearly all over them for large parts of the game. Edited 14 August, 2011 by Ohio Saint

Ohio Saint Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 Who cares about the grammar! I could understand the post no problem, give the guy a break Nah. I can forgive the small mistakes, but "We was" is unforgivable.
Pilchards Posted 14 August, 2011 Posted 14 August, 2011 You are right guys it was a terrible effort, I did the message with one hand on the toothbrush and my thumb doing the texting on the iPhone. Must admit I never like to check what I write as I do spend far too long on the forum with my busy life. Changed it now and I promise I will try harder in future.

Should have been 6 up before the last 5 mins onslaught. That is precisely why I insisted on kicking off a "back from the match" thread, even though it was lunchtime on Sunday by then. There was some really weird stuff being said by people who clearly weren't there in the post-match thread(s).
