Despite some lukewarm reviews, I actually have found this pretty good. OK, there are some ott bits in the drama and a few of the mechanics have the odd hiccup, but I think some reviews have been over-critical. It certainly covers some ground that WW2 games haven't done so much of in the past, which is nice to see.

I played 2 levels of it and my motherboard which I've had for 3 weeks blew up.

 

I want to play it so much. I hope scan hurry up and send me out a replacement sharpish next week.

 

It's nothing special yet, but I think they've done the opposite of COD (bar COD4) by not putting all the best bits right at the beginning of the game.

 

Flashpoint 2 is what I'm looking forward to. I may well take my full years holiday when that comes out
