Seaford Saint Posted 13 August, 2011 Share Posted 13 August, 2011 Team I would like to get Sky Telly. I am only interested in the footy, both the Premier and the Championship. The question is this...do I need to have Sky Sports 1 or Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports2 to get all the Premier and Championship games that Sky shows. From the one week schedule I could read online all the Premier League footy footy I saw on there was on Sky Sports 1. Is this correct or does the Premier League footy also appear on Sky Sports 2? Where is Championship footy shown on Sky
SuperMikey Posted 13 August, 2011 Share Posted 13 August, 2011 Premier League is almost always on Sky Sports 1, but Football League can be on either - sometimes even on SS3. Just get the lot!

Seaford Saint Posted 19 August, 2011 Author Share Posted 19 August, 2011 Hi, I chose BT vision for the Sky channel and my card that goes into the BTvision box has now been registered on line with BT. However I do have a question Our TV is in our family room on the wall. We have a BT socket nearby but it appears after testing it, that it does not work. So I am asking probably a blindingly obvious question, does our BT vision box need to be connected to BT for Sky to work. We had the BT vision box in the old house connected to BT. Any advice would be appreciated.

Block 18 Posted 19 August, 2011 Share Posted 19 August, 2011 I didnt think BT vision did HD? Check out Virgin, they do it. Dont go near them, I made the big mistake of opting to change from Sky to Virgin. From day one it was one thing after another, first they said that we couldnt have the Tivo box as most of Southampton is not teady for digital cable and wont be untill at least October. Then the first proposed instalation is cancelled the day before owing to the fact that they couldnt get cables to my house from the main junction box. So a new date is set, get a call the night before saying we'll be along tomorrow to install your broadband and phone. I ask about the telly they had cancelled it as they no longer install analogue boxes. I told them that my Sky membership will run out the day after and was told that I could phone Sky and extend it, that was it cancelled all Virgin and stuck with Sky
Eastcowzer Posted 19 August, 2011 Share Posted 19 August, 2011 Thanks mate, so I would need Sky Sports 3 as well. OK I shall go for this.... I'd give it a miss unless you enjoy some prat yapping, sorry, that should be 'commentating', next to you Something else to consider would be the constant replays from every angle bar the goalkeeper's fundamental Sky is not live either, there is a ten second delay in the transmission. so they dont miss any goals as per the shambles that is ITV. If the telephone socket cannot be reconnected you can use powerline adaptors.
