Brilliant result, great steel shown by the team after a moment of stupidity and we've finally beaten a Keith Hill managed side!

Interestingly there wasn't a single draw in the Championship today and what a superb day with Pompey, Leeds, Leicester and Forest all losing!

8 successive league wins, 9 successive wins in all competitive competitions, 1 defeat in 18.

This is getting boring.

**** knows how this place will react when we lose! End of the world job.

i dont want to get carried away but 2 games 2 wins means were keeping the winning mentality and i can see us getting a draw vs ITFC, a game at the start of the season i expect a defeat.

Very well done Saints....

Dan Seaborne you are a star and well worth your place in the side...

So much for some of the so called football experts on this forum...

Thank you Captain Dean Hammond ...

Squeeky bum time at the end, but this Saints team have proved they can hold on to a lead - even with 10 men!!

8 league wins in a row, another new record.

Another clean sheet (last week should have been one as well).

Sounded like Seaborne was Man of the Match, with Richardson and of course Lallana and Connolly also doing well.

A great day!! (Apart from the sending off.)

Hope Solent now start treating us as top dogs on the south coast.

Ugly wins are still wins. Very impressed and proved that with a couple of additions, our side last season was NPC quality.

According to Sky today 4 away wins on the bounce is also a record. Just keeps getting better & better.

Also agree with the Seabourne compliment he sounded very good today, big up to Richardson as well keeping it off the line when it sounded like it was in.
