Couldn't give a toss, I haven't been going to St Marys for the football for a while. We could put out a team of 15 year olds and I'd still go down every week.

Going to football games is about far more than just watching the games. Socialising, drinking with mates, travelling the country and meeting new people. I'll certainly be renewing next year no matter which league we're in.

What an embarrassing statement!

At least those season ticket holders show their support for the team in their hearts in a way that can really help our club.

What do YOU do to help SFC..?

well said, regret a lot of things about saints but supporting them and continuing to do so, is not one of them.

You rather watch skates on MOTD your choice

I will be renewing but I have been really disappointed with the atmosphere this season. I find myself whispering to my mates at times! (no joke.) I miss my Itchen North seat.

Oh and BTW not sure why everyone is getting annoyed and angry, Awaysaint1 is a WUM from B-anter!

I am and have never been a member of B-banter,although I do sometimes read part of the forum.

I was a long time season ticket holder at the Dell and Itchen north until the end of last season.

Lets just say some of us have seen the light.

I just got fed up with leaving at fulltime thinking I had just been to another Garry Glitter concert.

Its just not for me anymore.

I challenge anyone on this forum to miss 2 or 3 games and then want to carry on going at the end of it.

Its not about being a uber fan,its about breaking a habit.

'A living dog is better than a dead lion'

Those who can support, those who cannot make excuses.

Saints til I die and praying for reincarnation so I can do it all again.

I notice you realise that the 3 lions are dead as well, thats another kettle of fish.

Support what team?

You support a PLC,its no better than a franchise.

Those that still attend or support are the plastic fans supporting a plastic club not those who boycott!

Those that still attend enjoy football and go to watch it every week, not a bunch of business men sit around a table.

Well up yours pal!!!!!!!!!

Heard last night that Chris Newman no longer goes to SMS since ruperts return, does not even write in the echo , have known Chris since 1960 , really sad news

Football you call that football,11 kids running around a field against a team of men!

Shame the other 15,000+ majority do not share your view.

You sir are in the minority.

We await the demise of the plc and getting our club back.

Lets wear our shirts with the pride of a Leeds united fan.

You have all become Lowes puppets, wake up and smell the coffee,we waited years for a buyer to come and save us yet its not going to happen as long as RL shares are worth the trip from Cheltenham.

Season ticket holders: HOW LOWE CAN YOU GO?

I've called myself a mug fan on here a number of times, but I don't expect another `Saints supporter' to come on here and call me a mug just because I prefer to get a £15 ticket for every game.

`Best fans in the world', laughable when you have people like you criticisng others for actually going to games.

Leeds fans would laugh at someone like you. They turn up in league 1 in their thousands and they have Mr Chelseascum as their chairman.

You're just another `Come to see United you only come to see United' saints `fan'.

No! I and many other fans who no longer attend started supporting Saints when we played in the old league division1.

I remember seeing us play in heavy snow and freezing at Bristol city,Wimbledon,Grimsby and many other grounds over the years.

BUT season ticket holders are used to kidding yourselves that the stayaway fans are just glory hunters.

Time to join us and get Southampton football club back.

BOYCOTT AND GET LOWE OUT!

I have several business clients who bled red and white and had done through thick and thin. These are people who went to most away matches as well as holding extra STs for their customers and who also paid for advertising, sponsored players etc. But to a man they hate Lowe and now the Quisling, with a vengeance for how they have ruined this club and many of them say that they will never go again whilst Lowe is in charge.

As for all those saying that they will go to matches regardless of how poor the spectacle becomes, then this is precisely what the two failures rely on. If sufficient numbers decide to stay away because of the way that the board is ruining us, then administration will loom ever nearer; but it might force the board to rethink the strategy that is alienating the fans, but I wouldn't bet on Lowe or Wilde having the humility to ever think about what we might want, so if we go under then the blame will rest squarely on their shoulders. I care less with each passing day.

Mate, please **** off and die. I couldn't give a **** who was in charge of the club in all honesty. I go for atmosphere, not so much at home, but all away days are quality..

And we are in the minority? Well attendances last season or season before were normally between 20-26k.. Now there's about 15k. Now is that less than half?

I will be there no matter what league, no matter who's playing. It's our club. When these people **** off it will still be our club. Even if we go into administration and end up in league two, I will still be doing every home and away.. Or if the club goes out of existence I will support a team week in week out **** knows how many leagues below the Premiership.

I am starting to think the time may of come to mount a demo outside the club at 3pm on a match day!

How many stayaway fans would support it? the chance to show Lowe just how much we REALLY love our club,to show him we are still around and are ready to return after his demise.

An aeroplane with a message on the back is water off a ducks back, what we need is a couple of vans with large speakers on that can play a loop of the laughing policemen.

I think if enough stayaway fans attend we can sing loud enough to drown out the mug fans inside.

The diehards and those staying away on priniciple will never be able to see each others point of view, which is a shame for them and the club.

As each game goes by it is becoming increasingly clear that possibly as many as 6000 fans have decided never to put a penny into Lowe and Wildes pocket.

ONLY administration can sort out this club.

Those fans that keep banging on about administration and how wonderful it would be in "sorting this club out" clearly have absolutely no concept of what administration is, how it works and the god awful damage it would do to our football club.

our football club.

Our football club?

We dont have one,we have a team of reserves that bring in income for a plc called Southampton leisure holdings.

Were you a stay away fan when Lowe was running us in the Prem?

Don't call me a mug when you and others like you will bring my club to it's knees and subsequently L1 > L2

You are the MUG, if you want to protest crack on, unless your protest brings in mega money what is the point you fuc*ing halfwit!

Afraid your totally wrong KAT.

I (and others advocating it) probably understand a lot better than you.

That is why we advocate it.We see the much bigger picture.

The alternative is to limp along with Lowe/Wilde until Jacksons Farm can be sold for a decent amount god knows how many years in the future.

Well i am seriously thinking of getting my season ticket back for next year no matter what league we are in. ( and before you say i gave it up due to Lowes return or relegation, it was for financial reasons only) and seeing ive hardly missed a game this season at home and been to 3 away already i realise i can afford it again and likely to get it back.

STAY - Awaysaint1

QUOTE - I was a long time season ticket holder at the Dell and Itchen north until the end of last season.

QOUTE - No you support RL and the PLC.

The club died a few years ago.

Milton keynes dons-Southampton leisure holdings

QOUTE - Those that still attend or support are the plastic fans supporting a plastic club not those who boycott!

So what you are trying to say is that you supported the club no matter what (under RL,being a PLC and even being a Plastic Club) untill that horrible man decided to close the area where you sat. Now that you do not want to move seats you have decided to mouth it off to those that still go without even knowing them.

Have a think about the above then decide who the mug is.

Better that than sold for a fraction of its value now - the Premier League (as we will see in the not too distant future) has engendered a culture of short-termism in clubs and football fans - I would actually rather limp along and guarantee the club survives for future generations than the lottery of administration.
