I thought that I would still follow League 1 having developed a new found appreciation of the lower leagues whilst we were down there.

With only 1 weekend gone, I already have no clue of the league 1 results and I switched off the highlight show right after the championship had finished.

Will any of you be following it this season?

I cant even spell league any more

Theres always one pedant waiting to pounce on the smallest mistake, isnt there.

Oh, hang on, its you!!!!

I'll certainly be keeping a closer eye on it than I would've done previously. Hudds should have enough about them this year, and curious to see how the big Sheffield teams do down there.

Hudds fans are already calling for Lee Clark's head after their draw at the weekend with Bury!

Gotta love it, haven't you? - Still feel for them that they didn't come up via the play off's. Much preferred them as rivals to Peterborough who I have a strange dislike for.

Ever since we fell to that level I've taken an interest in all football leagues. And yes, I still follow League 1, 2, BSS, BSN, BSP.

If you're a football fan you will follow anything.

You've obviously got far too much time on your hands! I don't even know what BSS is..... but i bet it is BS!

Blue Square South, where Eastleigh currently play.

And no, it doesn't take 5 minutes out of my day to click a link on the BBC website.

Same here. For me it's the "Ferguson factor"!

It's not strange...they've got a tw*t of a chairman and spawn of bacon face as a manager - entirely rational (I'll get my coat!)!

I shall be following the likes of Bury, Yeovil, Stevenage and Rochdale with great interest whilst we play the likes of West Ham, Leicester, Birmingham and the Skates !

Yeah, for sure :):)

On Saturday at 3:30pm I noted that there were shedloads of games in League One that had already seen a goal, and noted that nevertheless "I couldn't care less anymore". It was great to realise that I'd completely forgotten Bury had been promoted from League Two, and that this was because I no longer needed to know, or gave a spattering shart about the bottom two divisions. Hopefully we've put all of that behind us.

You may note this might be part of the reason I wasn't familiar with the likes of Lambert and Hammond when we signed them.

I'll be dragged to a few Bury games this season as usual so will keep my hand in so to speak. Really enjoyed touring the grounds of League 1, but I got far too complacent about us winning for my liking.

I have always kept an eye across all the leagues tbh.

Lots of pressure on Hudds this year.

..know what you mean, and to be fair Hudds. were worth a promotion place more than P 'boro'...

but now I'm back to looking at results for regional clubs. Having " lost " Swindon, hope that Yeovil and B'mouth can stay up in L1.

Very open league this year. Amazing to think players of the class of Lambert, Schneiderlin and Lallana were playing there. Wonder how hard we had to fight to keep them at Saints the summer after we didnt get promoted.

This is one area the club has excelled in over the last few seasons. Keeping our best players here when some would have been justified by trying to make a step up much sooner
