Eastcowzer Posted 9 August, 2011 Posted 9 August, 2011 To me that looks like spin to basically their spending the minimum to keep the H&S bods happy Good Lord. A whole £i00,000, and we thought they were broke. They wanted to add a lick of paint but were afraid that chipping with needle guns would bring the whole place down. Watch out for the forthcoming super-loos for the derby game in December.
dronskisaint Posted 9 August, 2011 Posted 9 August, 2011 A bomb would be the best money spent on improving that sh*thole.
Dark Munster Posted 9 August, 2011 Posted 9 August, 2011 Well I see some of the whopping £100,000 is earmarked to improve the bogs. Before After
Gorgiesaint Posted 9 August, 2011 Posted 9 August, 2011 Oh dear. Only 3 subs on the bench tonight (including Ashdown), losing 1-0 at home to Barnet and only 4,464 there to see it (I know our attendance wasn't great at 6,541 but still nearly 50% more) What a shame... oh and 3 more bookings
scotty Posted 9 August, 2011 Posted 9 August, 2011 Is that link genuine, or a wind-up off News Thump?

alpine_saint Posted 10 August, 2011 Posted 10 August, 2011 "Meanwhile, the guttering on the south stand has also been fixed to prevent supporters getting a drenching in wet weather."
mightysaints Posted 12 August, 2011 Posted 12 August, 2011 It was all Health and Safety Work. I know a few guys that work for the HSE. They had to do the work or areas of the ground were going to be shut down.
