st.sj Posted 9 August, 2011 Share Posted 9 August, 2011 live near croydon. one store 3 stories tall, been in same family for 100 years totally burned to the ground. That bit of fun has destroyed that familys livelyhood and the staffs. Can some one explain what is going on. Saint Lindford Posted 9 August, 2011 Share Posted 9 August, 2011 Easy solution for me. The ones who have been arrested so far for rioting, looting and violence should be put on a fleet of Hercules transport planes and flown to Afghanistan. Once there they can be let off the plane and told they can riot, loot and cause as much damage as they can. If the Taliban don't get them then the NATO forces will. SCUM. ant Posted 9 August, 2011 Share Posted 9 August, 2011 Lots of rumours and nonsense doing the rounds, hopefully most of it will blow over without incident. I'm buggered if I'm letting mindless degenerates attack our city though - if a big enough group of anti-rioters got together it'd be a piece of **** to rush them out. A large group of Turkish shopkeepers managed to clear their road of rioters in London simply by chasing them...

STEVEADAMS Posted 9 August, 2011 Share Posted 9 August, 2011 The best thing I ever did was leave the UK. As much as I miss it, it's not the same place anymore. ant Posted 9 August, 2011 Share Posted 9 August, 2011 (edited) I'd find it hard not to get involved stopping it, regardless of safety. But lots of people are understandably too scared these days. Too much of the media making out it's all out revolution on every street demanded mass army action. It's a tiny, tiny (albeit completely scummy and morally blank) minority. Exactly. Looking at the videos posted on Youtube, half of the time it's groups of kids milling around while a few smash the hell out of windows and grab what they can. It doesn't take many people to make a huge mess. I don't think I'm going to be able to stand by and enable actions like that. It wouldn't take many people feeling the same way to make a difference. IF it happens of course. Edited 9 August, 2011 by ant
Victor Posted 9 August, 2011 Share Posted 9 August, 2011 The best thing I ever did was leave the UK. As much as I miss it, it's not the same place anymore. A once great country is overrun by thugs, criminals and freeloaders. I feel so sorry for the people affected by these animals. I hope you all stay safe. I notice you're not blaming immigrants - that would be hypocritical. However, the country has always been overrun by thugs, criminals and freeloaders and there has always been a history of periodic outbreaks of rioting by the peasants who wanted some of the benefits that this thuggery, criminality and freeloading brought the ruling elite. The peasants just use somewhat less polite and less clever - and ultimately less effective - ways of going about it. But don't send them to Afghanistan - the Afghans have suffered enough.
