Julian H. Cope Posted 16 October, 2008 Author Posted 16 October, 2008 Free - Free. I usually find that the best things in life are free.
Rory Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Last 4 bands I've seen live: British Sea Power (Southampton Uni) - 5/5 Babyhead (Palace nightclub) - 2/5 Kunt and the Gang (Hamptons) - 4/5 dEUS (London Koko) - 5/5
LVSaint Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 Cornelius - Point. Recommended by a friend a few weeks back and reminded myself from a remix by UNKLE (see above), not sure about it myself seems a bit lightweight to be honest. Cornelius did a great remix of Coldcut's Atomic Moog on Let Us Replay
Robsk II Posted 16 October, 2008 Posted 16 October, 2008 I saw British Sea Power supporting someone about 5 years ago and I honestly thought they were ****ing dire.

Joneth Posted 17 October, 2008 Posted 17 October, 2008 Last 4 bands I've seen live: British Sea Power (Southampton Uni) - 5/5 Babyhead (Palace nightclub) - 2/5 Kunt and the Gang (Hamptons) - 4/5 dEUS (London Koko) - 5/5 Saw BSP in Belgium a couple of months back and I will vouch for your 5/5 I remember dEUS were brilliant about 5 years ago but their last 2 albums have been disappointing IMO. Last live band I saw was Sigur Ros who basically are in another league from anything else I've ever seen, I've basically just been listening to their new album solidly for the best part of 2 months.
Saint Martini Posted 17 October, 2008 Posted 17 October, 2008 Saw BSP in Belgium a couple of months back and I will vouch for your 5/5 I remember dEUS were brilliant about 5 years ago but their last 2 albums have been disappointing IMO. Last live band I saw was Sigur Ros who basically are in another league from anything else I've ever seen, I've basically just been listening to their new album solidly for the best part of 2 months. I really really want to see Sigur Rós live but for some reason they're not including Scandinavia in their tours :S Anyway, at the moment I'm listning to the new single by the Killers (Human). Very good single and if the rest of the album is as good I'll defintely buy it.

Giamlarrahan Posted 22 October, 2008 Posted 22 October, 2008 Chinese Democracy - Guns N' Roses Well, whats left of them. 14 years and I'm not overly convinced that it was worth the wait, although I do love the song.
Pancake Posted 23 October, 2008 Posted 23 October, 2008 Magnum - Chase the dragon. Blast from the past! Havent listened to Magnum in years! Chinese Democracy - Guns N' Roses Well, whats left of them. 14 years and I'm not overly convinced that it was worth the wait, although I do love the song.
