SuperMikey Posted 17 February, 2011 Posted 17 February, 2011 Apparently they are "Constantly trying to push the boundaries of mediocrity". Well they got the mediocrity bit right............... For Basingstoke they're like The Beatles..it's not exactly a hotbed of musical talent! Another Basingstoke band - Butterflies on Strings. My mate's brother sings in this, they're pretty good. http://www.facebook.com/butterfliesonstrings#!/butterfliesonstrings?v=app_2405167945

Hamilton Saint Posted 4 March, 2011 Posted 4 March, 2011 Was listening to the GF singing Stevie Wonder I just Called to say at Karaoke 2night... She only won 2 tickets to see him in concert in March. Well impressed Stevie Wonder! The first concert I went to. At the Gaumont in Southampton in the winter of '68-'69. Then I saw him open for The Rolling Stones in 1972 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. Here's an interesing home movie by Jim Price from the 1972 tour. It shows Stevie Wonder's band and the Stones on stage together doing Uptight and Satisfaction. Cool! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5427017313299931692#
