RonManager Posted 11 November, 2010 Posted 11 November, 2010 Beady Eye - Bring The Light Oh dear,I expect Noel had a good chuckle to himself when he heard it. Has he got any less whiny?, the whiiiiiinyness was becoming an unbearable parody towards the end of Oasis.

Cestrian Saint Posted 25 November, 2010 Posted 25 November, 2010 I Blame Coco - The Constant. Just noticed a couple of earlier threads. Beady Eye... What a f**king joke that is! Kings Of Leon... Where did it all go wrong? The first 2 albums were amazing and it's all gone down hill from there. Yet for some reason they seemed to have gained more fans with their middle of the road, bland effortless nonsense. I don't understand what's wrong with the record buying public. Whatever happened to people getting into cutting edge music. Everybody seems to want safe boring music these days.

Whatever happened to people getting into cutting edge music. Everybody seems to want safe boring music these days. But this is the beauty of music isn`t it? What is beauty to one person is bland to another. I always say that there is no such thing as bad music. It`s just that some is a lot better than others. What is best is purely down to the individual.

saintscottofthenortham Posted 28 November, 2010 Posted 28 November, 2010 (edited) NME Awards 2011 News Crystal Castles, Magnetic Man, Everything Everything, Vaccines for NME Awards Tour 2011... Got my tickets for Bournemouth Opera House date (16th Feb) the other day, going to be one immense night. Will also post this up on the gigs section but as Crystal Castles (ok ok ok not a new band ffs) and Everything Everything (saw them at Talking Heads few months back and they were absolutely suuuuuuuuuuuuuperb) have had a few mentions on here I thought i'd share. Magnetic Man i'm sure alot of you are aware of and I can't wait to see them and the Vaccines are another fantastic new band. In short... February 16th cannot come quick enough. Saw Crystal Castles supported by Health at The Academy Bournemouth back in October. Both excellent. Not sure about CC being new though they played The Brook Portswood back in May 2008 !
manji Posted 28 November, 2010 Posted 28 November, 2010 I also think Everything Everything and The Vaccines are over-hyped Brit-Indie tosh.................................
