Deppo Posted 2 October, 2008 Posted 2 October, 2008 I was listening to 'The Living Dead' earlier. Years ago there was a really good piano version of that given away on the front of a magazine, but I lost my copy. If anyone can find it on-line anywhere I'll have a homosexual experience with them. I'm sure I've still got it somewhere. I can send it to you to burn as long as you return it. The homosexual experience you can have with I'm No Sinner.

The homosexual experience you can have with I'm No Sinner. That would be awesome. Awesome. I'll PM you. I'm No Sinner wishes he could have a piece of this candy.

Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 3 October, 2008 Posted 3 October, 2008 Methinks she doth protest too much. Is that how you like it? When someone protests? That's it, make it look like you turned me down. Well, I still dont know if your actually male or female so 50% chance!

Matt SFC Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 Have been giving The Shins lp Oh, Inverted World a listen. Few interesting sounds, fades towards the end though.
Ponty Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 Have listened to Buckcherry - Black Butterfly a fair bit since it came out but it's not really growing on me. There are a couple of solid BC tracks but there's a lot that seems rushed to capitalise on the (relative) success of "15".
Pancake Posted 9 October, 2008 Posted 9 October, 2008 Iron Maiden - The Best of The Beast as I couldnt be bothered to track down all my albums. **** yeah!
Julian H. Cope Posted 9 October, 2008 Author Posted 9 October, 2008 The Icicle Works - Blind(Sh*t Creek rocks like a mutha)
Pancake Posted 9 October, 2008 Posted 9 October, 2008 Metallica - Death Magnetic. I think I must have listened to this at least once a day since it came out. Its growing even more.
Ludwig Posted 9 October, 2008 Posted 9 October, 2008 Been listening to that Vivian Girls one, is it me or is it pretty ****?

Saints1980 Posted 11 October, 2008 Posted 11 October, 2008 Blitzen Trapper - Furr Big improvement on their last record.
St Landrew Posted 12 October, 2008 Posted 12 October, 2008 I'm listening to Radio 4's Afternoon Play from last Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. It's HMS Surprise, which is from Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series. Everyone has seen Master & Commander, with Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany, and this is the 2nd book. Great stuff too. And in this case, I'm 99.9% sure I can give you a link to the first episode without breaking any forum rules or laws: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00drz1k It starts about a couple of minutes in. You've got until Wednesday next to listen to it. Or record it for later, like I did.
Pancake Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 UNLKE - The Men From UNLKE. Not technically an album or technically legal, but a nice compo of remixes of the likes of QOTSA, Blur, Tortoise...
Pancake Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 Cornelius - Point. Recommended by a friend a few weeks back and reminded myself from a remix by UNKLE (see above), not sure about it myself seems a bit lightweight to be honest.
Pancake Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 The Replacements - Let it Be. Fine way to end the morning IMHO.
jeff leopard Posted 14 October, 2008 Posted 14 October, 2008 Pixies - Trompe Le Monde Probably their weakest album but still rammed full of humour and ideas and infinately better than 99% of everything else out there. They really were one of the great rock bands. Keith Fullerton Whitman - Multiples & Playthrough. Two stunning albums of drone. Songs and lyrics and tunes are for gays.
