Danny R Posted 9 September, 2010 Posted 9 September, 2010 Rammstein - Mutter : no idea what the lyrics are about, bit beyond my O level deutsch. The lead singers mother?
St Landrew Posted 9 September, 2010 Posted 9 September, 2010 The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - series one and two box set thing. Series 1 and 2 are excellent, although I had trouble liking Mark Wing-Davey's overly smug Zaphod Beeblebrox accent, occasionally. That aside, I have Series 3, 4 and 5 as well. Sadly, they aren't quite a good, sounding a wee too melancholic, imo, but they're certainly still of a high standard. BTW, how do you think they managed to get Douglas Adams to play a bit part in a recording of Series 3, in 2003, when he'd already died by 2001..? I don't know. Obviously, that Improbability Drive gets everywhere.
Ludwig Posted 10 September, 2010 Posted 10 September, 2010 Just got back from seeing Two Door Cinema Club at New Slang in Kingston. Amazing gig, up there with the liveliest i've been to definitely! I'd recommend that you see them in a small venue as opposed to somewhere like Shepherd's Bush. Watch out for some more club gigs that they might do. Saw them at the Roundhouse supporting Foals. Yawnfest.

St Landrew Posted 26 September, 2010 Posted 26 September, 2010 Earlier this year, I listened to The Further Adventures of Dr Syn, but now Radio7 are repeating the original series of 10 episodes. Must say, it is pretty good. Rupert Sewell has a fantastic voice.

Rory Posted 6 October, 2010 Posted 6 October, 2010 Hi music fans, I'm looking to start up a new section on my website (which will be expanded before the start of the new year) where people can post up their own Spotify playlists for other people to enjoy. The idea is very similar to the one on here but I'm willing to continue it, as I say, on my site. If anyone is interested, let me know. Cheers.
SuperMikey Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 I'm up for that Rory, i'm always making playlists that just sit there unused on my Spotify account! I'm currently listening to Kurran and the Wolfnotes - impress your friends by mentioning them down the pub one night and win +500 smarm points when they get astronomically big next year.
