What are you listening to?

Been watching BBC Guitar Heroes for the last half hour or so. Saw Michael Chapman playing a tune called Wellington The Skellington. I remember hearing this once in the 1970's and thinking it was a nice tune, but not something I was into at the time. Hearing it again, after all these years, and it sounds lovely. Found it on good ol'Youtube:

Any of you heard the album 'Pin me down' (band goes by the same name).

It's the gutarist from Bloc Party (Russell Lissack), along with a female singer called Milena Mepris. First album I've had for a while that I just can't stop listening too.

In tune [sorry] with my listening to acoustic guitar, I've had another dose of Andy McKee. For those who haven't a clue who I'm talking about [and I can quite understand that, because you'll never hear him on popular radio], here's a few tracks to listen to, and watch:

One Youtuber commented that He [Andy] sh!ts golden flowers that smell like rainbows and candy too. Well err... yes. ;)

The Divine Comedy - BANG! Goes the Knighthood

Lovely.

I shall have to have a listen to Pin Me Down's album Spudgun, followed the project from setup but news of an album must've slipped past me. Will have a listen and report back - I must say that Kele's solo stuff is magnificent as well.

Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles

the latest one, as they have rather unhelpfully named both of their albums eponymously. Too cool. It's good so far.

Yeah Good album.Think I will go and see them live in Bournemouth especially as they got Health as support

Luckily caught the 8 part radio programme series of Amadeus on Radio 7, just the other day. It started last monday week and finishes tomorrow [Wed 2nd June]. Being read by F. Murray Abraham, who is the Oscar winning actor who played Salieri, in the film version. He reads it beautifully too. I just did a whole batch of Listen[ing] Again, and I'm upto speed. Good job I recorded it at the same time, because within minutes I was sawing wood.

Never been able to stay awake until the end of a story. :)

Can't stop listening to Adam Greens album 'Friends of Mine' and The Moldy Peaches track 'Anyone Else But You'... Far from alot of people aste but once you have fell for them it's dangerous. Give it a chance because he's the only Artist that can have me in fits of laughter then wanting to cry within 2 different tracks.

Also loving a Danish band called Figurines... For a bit of skandinavian Indie Rock.
