Was listening to "Red" the other day.

Now...The National-High Violet

In The Court Of The Crimson King ... A personal favourite of mine... Odd thing is I got introduced to what is essentially a local band by a scouser.

Whatever Youtube prompts me to listen to, so far from New Order to Joy Division, somehow from there to Kylie ( yes, I'm confused too), on to Dexys and now Flock of Seagulls.

The Monkees - For Pete's Sake

Brilliant..!

For Pete's Sake

They may have been the first made-for-media band, but they provided us with some excellent tunes. The above oozes 1960's feel. It's the end credits from their show, not the full song.

Been listening to a BBC radio drama series The Diary of Samuel Pepys. 6 hourly episodes filled with excellent detail from the 1660's. Ol' Pepys sure liked his women, but he was a real professional, and was involved in some fascinating events in history.

Stevie Wonder - Legend (not a song/album just a statement), anything by him is just brilliant. Roll on Glasto!!!

'Superstition' is one of my favourite records.........didn't realize that he was doing Glastonbury this year.
