Deppo Posted 24 March, 2010 Posted 24 March, 2010 The Velvet Underground - Loaded What a tune Sweet Jane is. Marvellous.
landford.saint Posted 24 March, 2010 Posted 24 March, 2010 Was listening to "Red" the other day. Now...The National-High Violet In The Court Of The Crimson King ... A personal favourite of mine... Odd thing is I got introduced to what is essentially a local band by a scouser.
Deppo Posted 24 March, 2010 Posted 24 March, 2010 PJ Harvey - Uh Huh Her What a great album. I must be in one of my 'manic' phases.
Block 5 Posted 25 March, 2010 Posted 25 March, 2010 Foreign muck Californian to be exact. The band was fronted by Ross Harris, the young man in the middle of this picture.
manji Posted 25 March, 2010 Posted 25 March, 2010 Where have you got High Violet from, mate? A well known free internet downloading site.
Block 5 Posted 25 March, 2010 Posted 25 March, 2010 Dyke and the Blazers - 'So Sharp'. The Birds - 'The Collector's Guide to Rare British Birds'.
chrisobee Posted 26 March, 2010 Posted 26 March, 2010 Whatever Youtube prompts me to listen to, so far from New Order to Joy Division, somehow from there to Kylie ( yes, I'm confused too), on to Dexys and now Flock of Seagulls.
RonManager Posted 27 March, 2010 Posted 27 March, 2010 Are you knocking one out whilst listening? Could yourself and Dog please quote the artist(s) as well as just the song title please?
miserableoldgit Posted 27 March, 2010 Posted 27 March, 2010 Laura Marling - I Speak Because I Can Peter Gabriel - Scratch My Back

Deppo Posted 2 April, 2010 Posted 2 April, 2010 Galaxie 500 - On Fire Bikini Kill - Reject All American A Certain Ratio - Force
jeff leopard Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 i listened to the teenage fanclub best of and, shame upon me, i forgot just how amazing they are. it also reminded me that Everything Flows is one of my favourite tracks ever.
St Landrew Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 The Monkees - For Pete's Sake Brilliant..! For Pete's Sake They may have been the first made-for-media band, but they provided us with some excellent tunes. The above oozes 1960's feel. It's the end credits from their show, not the full song.
St Landrew Posted 3 April, 2010 Posted 3 April, 2010 Been listening to a BBC radio drama series The Diary of Samuel Pepys. 6 hourly episodes filled with excellent detail from the 1660's. Ol' Pepys sure liked his women, but he was a real professional, and was involved in some fascinating events in history.
harvey Posted 5 April, 2010 Posted 5 April, 2010 Elton John - Benny & The Jets ..........Central Park
IamLeGod Posted 5 April, 2010 Posted 5 April, 2010 Stevie Wonder - Legend (not a song/album just a statement), anything by him is just brilliant. Roll on Glasto!!!
