This do sound good.

Agreed.

Shame about Sparklehorse, hey. I just had to listen to It's A Wonderful Life today. I find it slightly strange how he kills himself just days after the announcement Dark Night of the Soul was finally getting an official release.

You didn't see Rock Family Trees then. Was on TV last night. It examined the evolution of Black Sabbath.

Just noticed it's on at 12.40am, just after a RFT programme on Deep Purple.

Nice. I'll be watching that on iplayer soon, but not tonight, it's been a long weekend.

Where has all this metal on BBC come from all of a sudden? I noticed Slayer featured on Harry Hill too!?

Listened to all four Simon and Garfunkel albums in a row last Sunday, whilst preparing a beef stew for dinner. Paul Simon is a great song writer. Bookends is quite brilliant!

Check out Simon's fairly recent album collaboration with Brian Eno - Surprise. Excellent - if you're a fan of his stuff!

I'm liking this.

I haven't got anything by Bonobo since 'Dial M for Monkey' which seems so long ago now.

That was a very good album...hope that Black Sands lives up to it.

Speaking of...., been giving Jaga Jazzist's latest a whirl and it is bloody brilliant after a few listens.

More vinyl on the turntables.

Phase II - 'Reachin' (Brotherhood Mix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDm4ggMRKpU

All time top 5 tune.

Joe Smooth - 'Promised Land'

Avoid Weller's version at all costs. This is the feeling you want.

Urban Soul - 'Alright' (Sasha remix)

The only good remix Sasha has done.

Blaze - 'Can't Win for Losing' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzPPPMYso_4

These guys can craft a song.

Gate-ah - 'The Shelter'

The club. The vibe. The tune.

Mandy Smith - 'I Just Can't Wait' (Cool and Breezy Jazz Mix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B119rFaUT7A

Balearic gold.
