I see your 'Live Herald' and raise you 'Green'.

Always makes me smile when I see the cover of Motivation Radio though.

I see your 'Green' and raise you....... Khan - 'Space Shanty'.

Motivation Radio is a dreadful cover, what was he thinking?!?

But some good tunes on there.

Green is probably my favourite Hillside album, but L and Live Herald come pretty close.

(Just don't mention Rainbow Dome Musick.)

'Headz 2A' http://www.amazon.co.uk/Headz-Vol-2a-Various-Artists/dp/B00000B2SE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1264720972&sr=8-2

'Headz 2B' http://www.amazon.co.uk/Headz-Vol-2b-Various-Artists/dp/B00000B2SF/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1264720972&sr=8-5

All highly recommended. (Headz 2A also includes 'Garage Piano' by UNKLE, back when they were good).

Have been going through some of my old vinyl and sorting it alphabetically. Reminded me why back in our day we didn't need games consoles to keep us in our bedrooms for hours on end just the Dewey system and a healthy collections of LPs.

Anyway I came across some of my original Groundhogs albums and it seems some of them are worth a few bob - who needs a SIPP?

Blues Obituary and Who Will Save the World from the Mighty Groundhogs seem the most valuable and no doubt the 30 year old sellotape repair to the gatefold comic insert to the latter can only enhance it's value.

Hogwash remains a favourite though and the briliiant 3744 James Road.

I also came across a Greenslade album. Someone please enlighten me, Block 5, maybe my best bet as to wtf were Greenslade? I almost came across it literally as inside I found a nostalgic copy of Parade obviously hiidden in a Greenslade gatefold safe in the knowledge no one would ever go there including me it seems. Bit annoyed really as it beat Womans Own hands down not to mention the occasional copy of Custom Car I was able to purloin from my Brothers bedroom.

I have an original copy of 'The Pentateuch of the Cosmogony' by Dave Greenslade, with artwork by Patrick Woodroffe.

It's a double album inside a hardback book of incredible sci-fi illustrations.

The music could best be described as synth based prog rock.

It came out in the late 70s.

I haven't heard any of Greenslade's other stuff. The debut was self titled and came out in 1972.

It is now available on CD but I would imagine the artwork won't look quite as stunning on a smaller scale (another reason why vinyl is a better format - album artwork!).

HTH.

Just spent the morning pottering around the house with the Mike Snow album on.

It pains me to think the guys behind Mike Snow produced "Toxic" for Britney Spears, amongst other things!

Apart from the well known Black and Blue, this is my fave song from the album:
