Been listening to Little Boots since I saw her on Jools Holland. She might well be pop, but (1) she is really good pop, (2) she is rather talented and (3) she is rather hot.

Tangerine Dream - Rubycon.

Reminds me of the days when I used to buy milk from a horse called Simon, and my smack from a badger who resided in a disused soda stream in Bolton. I always preferred the taste of Corona fizzy limeade.

The World Of Twist - Quality Street

I almost dug this out last night. I listened to The Vines - Winning Days in the end though.

Listening to all three Sparklehorse albums today. When I have blitzed them I have some Nile, the Judgement Night soundtrack and a Hubert Selby Jr spoken word on the old MP3 player.

I swa Steve Earle at The Big Session Festival last year. Great performer and great album.

Ahr takes me back - only seen him live once with the Dukes back in 88 or 89 at the old Town and Country club - superb - chilling version of Billy Austin...

Ooops, forgot about Its A Wonderful Life!!! I have got that one as well, it just a'int on my music player thingamajig.

Amazingly I picked it up in Crime Converters in Bitterne about six weeks ago, along with the second Willy Mason album. It is amazing what stolen CDs end up being fenced through pawn shops these days.

I've listened through it about 3 or 4 times today and it's very much American Idiot 2, which although to be expected, is still a disappointment. Pretty forgettable stuff, although not really worthy of the 14 "a"s you gave it - it was OK.

I do like track 14, something about horseshoes and handgrenades, it puts me in mind of The Hives and Terrorvision.

Im giving it another go today.

Yeh, they are and seemed a good bunch of lads as well. They were joking about the fact that there were only about 30 people there (Tower Arts Centre don't do advertising very well). Not really the sort of music I am normally in to, but will be buying their CD. Thought they played The Joiners the night before though?

The Stone Roses - The Second Coming

What a brilliant album.

Indeed. Very underrated aswell due to people expecting it to be similar to the first album. Different direction- and a good job done of it.

As for me- currently listening to Echo and the Bunnymen- Killing Moon- The Best Of.

Agree, if it had come out under a different band name it would be regarded today as a classic of its time IMHO.

Good shout, now queued.
