Filthy Dukes - Nonsense In The Dark

Good album I think. Hardly Grammy stuff, but still very danceable, which I think is what they were going for, so that's okay. I should imagine quite a few tracks will find themselves in the clubs soon enough (if you've been out anywhere recently you will have heard 'Tupac Robot Club Rock'). I particularly like the album title track, 'Nonsense In The Dark' with Orlando from The Maccabees (my favourite band) guesting on vocals. Very good.

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker

Repeatedly, whilst masturbating furiously in a pool of my own excretia, wearing a mask of Peter Mandelson's face.

Were you doing the funky umbrella dance too or would that have been too much to handle?

Drove upto Oxford today, and all the time between chatting to my passenger, I was humming No Language In Our Lungs - XTC. It's possibly one of the few of their tracks I've never really liked that much, but as soon as I got home I put on Black Sea, and it's great. I'll never skip that track again. Amazing..! It's only taken me 25+ years to like it. ;)

Also gave me an opportunity to turn the wick up on Smokeless Zone. Brilliant boppy track.

Just finishing the day off with day off with Whale; We Care. Old Euro stuff that was fairly big in the 90s with favourites such as Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe, Kickin'....

Just before this I was enjoying the retro sounds of Man Or Astro Man; Intravenous Television Continuum.
