Neil Young - After the Gold Rush

Blind Faith - Blind Faith

Two classics - esp ATGR.

Saw a film of a Blind Faith open air concert on (I think) Sky Arts recently. Certainly had the potential to be a top band for some time. Pity they were so short lived. Possibly too many egos in one place!

The Friend I Never Met - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f27megLOleQ

Drifting -

Tight Trite Night -

As it happens, I made the mistake of going within 6 ft of Apple Venus Vol 1 this evening. That got played cover to cover.

Vampire Weekend -- White Sky.

Pitchfork has cemented its status as the best website on the planet by adding all sorts of new features, including the chance to listen to snippets of every song on every album they've ever reviewed (I think, I've not checked them all).

Currently re-housing my CD collection to the loft, so Im ripping loads to the PC.

With that in mind:

Bon Jovi - New Jersey

Velvet Underground & Nico

Fenix*Tx - Lechuza

Stereophonics - Performance & ****tails.

Makes me wonder why Im copying most of these to be honest...

Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die

Nice.

Baby Bird - Bad Shave

P.S. I feel the need to point out that there is a lot more to Baby Bird than 'You're Gorgeous' - he made a handful of very good lo-fi albums prior to the aforementioned song - including this album.
