Eastleigh Tonight.

Apparently Forecast told some kids behind the goal to f*ck off. They're about 9.

Tells you all you need to know about him basically.

Adds to the list of hitting a woman in town and starting on Saints fans. He really is the biggest cu*t to wear this clubs badge. The worst thing is he has no talent to back it up with. Can't wait til his contract is up!

That won't make up for the fact this chancer has made more money out of saints than most of us make in 10 years or more. He's nowhere near Eastleigh standard, never has been. So what standard is he exactly? Definitely not pro or semi pro.

Lets not forget Spurs did not really want tolet him go.

Good little watch. Forepast was awful, Forte is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard up top on his own, he missed an absolute sitter when 1 on 1 in the first 10 minutes and Holmes struggled to make an impression. Dickson & Isgrove both looked good though. Have never managed to remember is name but the brick Shíthouse centre back looks like good material.

No player was going to shine tonight as Eastleigh were bang up for it and were highly physical but good to get a glimpse of our youngsters mixing with Fringe Players. Amazing what difference Jack Dovey made in goal, the whole of defence looked so much more composed.

Aaron Racine?

He was also excellent at Kettering last week.

Southampton have signed Tottenham reserve keeper Tommy Forecast for £100,000.

Forecast, 6ft 6ins, has signed a five-year deal to become their fifth summer signing.

He said: "Spurs did not really want to let me go but as soon as I found out about Saints' interest my mind was made up."

Thought Eastleigh were really up for it and we looked disorganised.

Forte is not a footballer and was dire, awful miss, Holmes worked hard, one or two good crosses but did not really stand out. Mills was quiet and Dickson did not show much either. All in all a hard fought match with plenty of spirit but not much for Saints fans to get excited about. Even Jack Stephens had a poor game - gave the ball away too often.

So £12 for me and £4 for my 8yr old even though the price board outside said under 12 free. I do feel ripped off. Only 804 there tonight, surely cheaper prices would have swelled that number. It will certainly make me think twice about popping down there if they have a game and Saints don't.

I was right behind Tommy's goal when my son, who was stood against the railing stepped back to me and said that the goalie had just told them to f off. They were all under 9 and had not given him any abuse.

Pretty poor performance, Dickson played through the middle, Mills and Holmes down the left but didn't trouble Eastleigh at all.

My son got Chambo's and Adkins autographs, a girl asked if Chambo's would play on Saturday, he said 'no I'm injured'.

He doesn't appear to be in the squad or team lists on the OS, so you may wish to rethink that ?

Send the club an angry e-mail and with any luck they'll save themselves paying him a couple week's wages.

So it was £12 to watch that shower of **** Eastleigh against an even worse saints outfit, yet people moan about £16 a game season tickets? Comedy gold.

dont think i've seen anyone complain about £16 a game season tickets. £12 is a rip off, but can understand a club like Eastleigh trying to make money in a game against saints which will attract a much bigger crowd then Basingstoke at home

Can anybody who was there tell us more about Isgrove? I saw him and Kettering and was really impressed.

Shame about the scoreline. As per usual, Saints win no pre-season games.

I thought he was One of very few on the pitch who managed to look ok. He had some lovely touches, always moving, always giving options and for a small lad he certainly puts himself about. I was pleasantly surprised.

As for Seidi... Was he pineapple head?

right...it's just a run-out for the youngsters and a few "fringe" players like Mills, Dickson and Holmes.

The good news is, at last we see that Tommy F- has found his true level....next step is a seaosn loan-out..but to where?

Well I'm guessing Eastleigh won't want him now...........

Tommy Forecast is the most useless goalkeeper we have ever had.

Having stood behind him yesterday I can safely say he Anthony Pulis could have done a better job!

Rest of the team were just hoofing it up and then losing it to Eastleighs man mountains. What happened to pass and move?

No one from that saints side should get anywhere near the first team any time soon.

So no-one got any info over the dispute with Eastleigh over this fixture?

As said earlier, suggestions Saints cost them £20k by going against the Martin contract and not playing a first team squad on a Saturday.

Without delving back into the archives, I think the wording was quite loose for the games played, in that we agreed to send a "strong" squad. I'm not sure if a "first team" squad was part of the deal. As for the Saturday thing, I've not heard that raised before. But if Eastleigh do indeed have a legal case, there are no more games in the loop due as part of the Martin deal, so they may pursue it. Although in doing so they'd completely write-off any chance of future fixtures with us, so you'd have to question the logic of it with a potential £20K at stake. It's not as if they've "lost" that money in any case, its entirely subjective how much extra they could have made from the game.

I don't think it is any where close to being a legal problem. My recollection is the last few Saints pre-season games with EFC have been earlier in the summer and with teams closer resembling a first team. I have been to 2 or 3 and it has been on a Saturday with attendance over 2,000. EFC probably feel last night's game was not within the 'spirit' of the agreement - that's all. EFC will not want to sour any relationship and I am sure SFC did not deliberately renege on the deal. I like EFC and if Saints are away I will watch when over.

I agree; however, on an Eastleigh FC forum a few weeks back there was a thread highlighted on here where one poster (suposedly with connections to EFC) had stated that they were looking at the legal standpoint, or something like that.

As I said before, it's not in Eastleigh's interests to pursue it, and I'm pretty sure the language of the agreement would not have speicified a first team requirement. As you say, more to do with the spirit of the agreement.
