yorkie Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 Bring it to Barnsley and I'll look after it and make sure it goes to all the game up North! Better than that take it to The Station and ask for Gossie he does home & away - I'd put it the roof of my house!
Barry the Badger Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 Would be nice if the club gave some indication of the expected use for the flag from now on. Will they make it available for any league games or only the ML tournament each year?
Spudders Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 Agree, Mike said to me last week that he's not been getting to replies from the club to his emails. To be honest, after making a decent donation I'll be dissapointed if it's not going to get used much.
hypochondriac Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 Agree, Mike said to me last week that he's not been getting to replies from the club to his emails. To be honest, after making a decent donation I'll be dissapointed if it's not going to get used much. Well I hope there is a valid reason.

Ewell Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 still no answer from the club, I too am getting p1ssed about this. Will keep trying though Fair play Mike. I totally understand how frustrating this must be for you. Other clubs allow big flags to be used for games so I would love to know what the problem is. JustMike Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 The only communication I have had back recenty was from the Foundation guys (I bought a smaller 6' x 3' flag and donated it for to be auctioned off) they said that the small flag is ready to go on the auction site, signed by players but are holding back until the big flag has had more exposure, which led me to believe we would have seen it at Leeds or even the Torquay game. JonnyLove Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 I want the flag out in the next home match or I will just have to enjoy the game with an unspoilt view of the pitch.
La BoIS Saint Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 Just a question was the cash all raised by fans in the end or did the club make up the balance?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 10 August, 2011 Share Posted 10 August, 2011 Not particularly in the spirit of the whole thing is it?! I thought donating to that flag would mean I might actually get to see it in the flesh as it were at all our home games. How rubbish for it not even to be put out across a deserted stand at the Torquay game!!! What the hell is going on?!
