Huffton Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 Bought a nice Samsung Galaxy from phones4you about six months ago, connected to Orange on an 18 month contract. Today the 'home key' button has stopped working. Who do I take this up with, guessing that each company will try to put it on the other one. Cheers
ecuk268 Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 Don't let them fob you off with "it's the manufacturer's responsibility". Under the Sale of Goods Act the retailer is fully responsible for getting it sorted.
marc_saint Posted 30 July, 2011 Posted 30 July, 2011 On the samsung you have two years warranty (all mobile phones are two years apart from iPhone and Blackberry who are one years warranty) so in this instance you should take the phone back to Phones 4 U. They will probably forward you onto the manufacturer for the phone to be fixed as I believe they do not fix "in-house", however it is their responsibility to arrange this for you. (I work in the industry but not for Phones4U)
