Odiham saint Posted 30 July, 2011 Share Posted 30 July, 2011 anyone that went or heard on the radio where Dean Hammond and Lee Barnard were today? Hope they're not injured as well... We know Chamberlain was on Wednesday and I have a feeling Dickson didn't play then either. Anyone?

jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 30 July, 2011 Share Posted 30 July, 2011 Adkins said on solent that aoc is the only injured player in squad now although may be fit for leeds game . So not sure on dickson. He has been quiet on twitter as well of late however not normally a prolific tweeter by any means. Just seems strange that's all.

This Jamel bloke can also play at LB, so he may have been advised he's not a first team regular anymore....(And we still have mills)

ottery st mary Posted 30 July, 2011 Share Posted 30 July, 2011 If Jemmal signs.....great/or Gorkss......Personally feel that Seaborne is far better than he is given credit for on here... Ever improving and highly thought of by the Manager....Martin will also turn into a very good CB.. De Ridder looks awesome asnd the Manager has e very good squad for this CCC....... Just Tevez.....wanting to move to Ocean Village:rolleyes: WIFM

Dalek2003 Posted 30 July, 2011 Share Posted 30 July, 2011 Lee Holmes is another player that is unlikely to feature this season. yes, he is the great under achiever. He could fade into the background and be off in the Spring.
There when Franny scored Posted 30 July, 2011 Share Posted 30 July, 2011 was thinking this today.....harding is clearly (and rightly) no.1 for LB and we have mills and seaborne who can play there Really disagree with this. I like Harding, particularly his mental approach to games, and am happy to have him in the side. However, given a choice of the two, I really feel Dickson has more to offer, particularly in the long term. He is quicker, better going forward and has more potential than Harding. Agree with the other poster about Seaborne. I really do feel he is underrated on here. Of course, nothing like the finished article, but coming on nicely and has lots of potential. Franny I'm agreed on this too. I feel if you look at NA's teams in pre-season you can tell he is preferring Fonte and Seaborne together as first team regulars this season. I'm pretty sure he's not started Fonte and Jaidi together once. And with retrospect, I think Jaidi knew when signing new contract, that he wouldn't play as much this season. He's gone up a league and his body may not be able to handle the increased physicality. Seaborne might.

Smirking_Saint Posted 31 July, 2011 Share Posted 31 July, 2011 Dickson is the better all round player compared to Harding. Harding is a decent defender, but doesn't offer enough going forward and his positional play is pretty suspect. This is a priblem in the NPC, within which a cavalier approach makes all the difference. IMHO Dickson schould get more game time, he is technically better, has a brilliant cross on him and is full of energy. Seaborne I agree with Ottary, much better than people give credit for, and TBF has a decent ball playing CB pedigree, my problem with both Martin and Seaborne however is niether are nasty b*stards in the same role as Jaidi, and neither if I was a striker would I worry about playing against, were as in Jaidi I would be worried about him kicking me into next tuesday before a ball was kicked.
